Hi BOTTers,

Ahhhh, teenage love.  I wrote a few days ago about my 13-year old son.  He found out that a girl liked him and wanted to "go out with him" (aka going steady in my days).  So, the next day she asked him to go out with her and he said yes.  He came home and told me.  The way he told me was similar to being told he had to have a root canal!  My son told me that he felt tied down and that now things were going to get "gooky."

The next day at school, he broke up with her - drama ensued from her friends and her heart was broken.  I talked with him about just because someone likes you that you need to make sure you want a "going out" relationship before you agree to it.  This morning, he woke up and threw his arms up in the air and stated that he was "FREE."  So much for a 24 hour teenage romance.

Here's my check-in today:

CARDIO:  Walk with my family and the dog this evening.

FOOD:

B - Cottage cheese
S - String cheese
L - Talapia
S - Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
D - Talapia and vegetables
S - Power Crunch bar

Have a terrific Thursday as all of us BOTT.

And just think, Cathy - you have about 5-8 more years of this drama LOL

Not feeling up to par today so will commit to a 100% BOTT food day and to exercise as I feel appropriate.  My goal for the next 10 pounds is to keep my BMI in the "normal" range since it's proving to be a very much "little up/little down" adventure.

Just two days until I can sleep in - seems like it's a long time coming this week

Thanks for being there, my friends.  Have a jolly good BOTT day

Life just stinks today. Our company received an e-mail first thing this morning informing us everyone will take a pay cut by April 1st. I am thankful to still have a job but worried that we are smack in the middle of buying graduation accouncements, senior pictures, gifts and a party. My DH is always the voice of reason and assured me we would look at the budget tonight, re-work it and sell a few things if necessary. But I will not eat my way through this!

No exercise, support group meeting right after work
Food:

B-1/2 Potato w/ham, bacon bits & cheese
S-Protein Bar
L-Chicken Salad & Lt. string cheese
S-Protein Shake
D-Chicken Salad
S-Protein Bar

1287 Cal. 113 Carbs 49 Fat 110 Protein.

Sorry for venting, I hope everyone has a great day.

Sorry to hear about your pay cut. Glad that you do still have a job, too many don't. If you find any "extra" in the budget please keep me in mind, lol.

I'm also excited because I may have found somewhere where I can go to get weighed more frequently than at my surgeon's scales as my visits to him now are annually:( So I'm hoping to be able to keep track of my weight perhaps every 2 weeks to keep an eye on my progress or lack of so I can tweak it as needed LOL - What a mouthful!
