GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, I came home from work today and my son asks why the doorhandle to our laundry room is wet, "wet" I said, "yes" he said. So I go to see what he is talking about and there is water spewing from my water heater. I could not find a water shutoff so I call a plumber and he rushes over to see whats up. The people who installed the water heater did it half a$$ed and did not put in a water shutoff valve. So the water has to be turned off to the whole house untill after he can replace the heater and bring everything back to code, tomorrow sometime after 7:00pm. So my back room is flooded I have no water and the 800.00 I had saved for something nice is now going to pay a plumber. The only good news is that I have had a good BOTT day.

I'm so sorry Wayne.  I hear your pain.  My ho****er heater went out on New Year's Eve evening.  That wasn't as bad as the hose to the ho****er in the washing machine splitting and spraying water towards the ceiling 7 days after my VBG surgery.  Mopping that up wasn't fun.

I hope you "dry out" soon!

My grandmother would have drolly commented "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?"   (Have you considered drowning the people who installed the w.h. in the puddle on the floor? LOL)

BUT - give yourself a GIANT pat on the back for your BOTT day inspite of the trauma!!!!
