Hi Kathy! im new around here...but looking to get back on track....2 yrs ago i did the sandiego rock n roll half marathon for the Lymphoma Leukemia society...and that same summer i got pregnant with our third lil princess....i was doing great with my weightloss until that point. now my lil princess is 10 months old and im slowly at a standstill and see pounds inching back on. i have not worked out regularly since the marathon and its so hard trying to find the time and when all the kids are in bed im exhausted! do you have your workout routine posted somewhere? i see this is day one....could you send me the other 6 days of the week. i have my good days and then it seems my bad days are really bad.....i looked through the group and all the "bad habits" we were told to stay away from i see that i have carelessly let slipped back into my life...i donot want to fail at this...but feel i am doing so...thanks for your posts and hope to be hanging around here more....have a great day!

Hi Karen,
First of all Welcome, Welcome, Welcome This is a safe place to come and let it all hang out...hehehe we are all about support and trying to help each other get back on track.
If you have not done so, take a moment to read the docs we have here. It's kinda a refresher course. One by one we let all the things we need to do for our tool to work go by the way side and before you know it the pounds on coming back on. That being said, you are already a winner just for coming here and saying enough is enough.
Once you refresh your memory about the basics like journaling, planning food, drinking all your water, exercising. Do it one step at a time, you know baby steps. If you try to change too many things at once, you will get burned out to fast and quit.
Exercise. I recommend the Oxygen Magazine...it has the best workout routines, gives you examples of proper form and eating clean and it's my bible... I make copies of the moves and take them to the gym and write down how many sets I do and what weights.
You can click under my avatar "latest posts" and view all the postings of the exercises we have been doing for the Spring challenge.
Again, welcome and look out summer you are going to be ROCKIN..oh, since you have kids...try coming up with fun things you guys can do as a family that would include exercise, like taking adventure walks, biking, swimming at the Y, some families love the WII system too.
Take care,
Kathy
