Hello BOTTers,

I have been MIA for awhile I have however lost 14 lbs. It's been hard for me to get on the computer as much nowadays, because I have 2 babies and now I am working part-time.

I have come to you all because I need help with energy. I have no energy at all and eventhough I lost additional weight.

Can anyone please tell me what they use for energy?

Thanks a bunch!

Be Blessed,
Sharonne

You might want to check your iron levels with your Doc. When they get low it can drain your energy. Don't know much about energy suppliments, sorry.

Good luck

First of all, give yourself credit for surviving - two babies and a part-time job will do just fine for using up energy

Wayne's suggestion about having your iron level checked is a good one.  Right now my dr has me on an iron supplement for 3 months - every now and then my iron level drops and one of the signs is fatigue.

But more routinely - I couldn't make it without my daily B-12.  I use the pill that I put under my tongue and let it disolve (fastest route to the blood stream).  I have one every day and, if I'm really tired at the end of the day, I have a second one. There's no known toxic blood level of B-12 so far as I've been able to learn and it sure makes a great big difference in my energy level - I've been doing this for 3 + years now.  But would still suggest you have your iron level checked.

Have a mighty fine day

Vitamin D can also play a part.  My most recent bloodwork showed a severely decreased vitamin D level.  My iron saturation level was low even though my other iron levels were good.  Vitamin D plays a part in iron saturation according to the Endochronologist I went to.  I am now on a prescription of  50,000 IU's of Vitamin D (one per week for 8 weeks)

hi sharonne,
i would 1st make sure all of your levels are good- check with your surgeon...
i take b12 in addition to coq10 and i double my multi (and also take fish oils, etc)...
are you eating enough? your body might need more protein???
i think you are doing great losing the lbs... but i would also hope that you get a blood workup just to make sure you are not low on anything.
hope this helps a bit
