I don't get to post much due to my work schedule, but I do read a weeks worth of postings on the weekend.  After reading about the Wii from others and the comments that Happy Lapbander posted, I finally bought the Wii Fit game.  I usually get bored very quickly and that is why I didn't purchase it prior to now.  I hate games, any kind of games.  But I am sooooo addicted to the Wii Fit.  I have never owned anything that gave me a since of accomplishment and made me want to inprove my performance like this "gadget" does.  I started out with a physical age of 58 while in reality I am only 47!  After just one week on competing with myself and my husband I now have the physical age of 47.  I can't wait to get back to 21!!!???

Thanks Happy for the heads up on the Wii.  How is the DDR going?

Have a GREAT week Botting!  I will check back in on you all this weekend.

Isn't it fun!   I's so glad you like it.    I'm 76 and I'm often as young as the low 50's.  (Talk about an ego trip LOL)

DDR isn't going at all yet.  Wish I knew somebody here that could show me what I need to be doing.  Until then, I'll just have to be a "brave little buckeroo" and try to figure it out for myself.

Hope your week was a fine one and next week will be even better

I am not a video game fan but everyone seems to love wii. Do you HAVE to enter your weight into the machine? I would hate everyone that uses that machine to know my weight. ACK>!

No you do not have to enter your weight if you choose not to, but it calculates other information based on your age, weight and height.  You can lock that information from view to everyone but yourself.

I am not a GAME player at all.  I get bored before any GAME is over, so I don't usually participate.  But the Wii Fit gives you short spurts of different activities that you chose to do.
