Back On Track Together

making a comeback

Hi all,
I was soooo gung-ho and then something made me lose that momentum. I love the feeling when something just clicks and it does not seem like such a struggle to eat right and exercise. I loathe when that feeling disappears

Anyway, I am back again after a BAD week! Not gonna beat myself up... going off for a week is still better than ignoring it for a year (like usual) and gaining, gaining, gaining and spiraling out of control.

Today I start a 10 week intensive boot camp at a Jiu Jitsu gym. It's everyday!!!! I am mortified to be the giant one in the group.. but hopefully that will change!!

Anyway, just wanted to check in and let you all know how inspiring you all are.. even when we slip and fall, it's nice to know you are here to help to dust each other off and move forward!

Happy BOTTing

Cari - I'm so proud of you getting back on track after just a week   I've been there and done that year thing (and more than a year) and know the longer I went the harder it was to get back on track.  You're doing great  Don't beat yourself - give yourself a giant pat on the back  You deserve it!

Sounds as though your boot camp will be grueling.  Not something I'd be brave enough to try regardless of my size.  Let us know how it goes (and assure us you're surviving LOL)  I can't imagine doing that unless someone was threatening me at gunpoint - and then I'd have to think about it for a while.

Have a fine BOTT Monday

good morning Cari.

I know what you mean by that "lost" gung ho feeling.
It seems that the after recommitting we have that honeymoon period and then it's gone and it becomes work. I am at the "work" period now but have made my decision to take it a day at a time.

Committing to a lietime of compliance (or even a week) seems like such a BIG mountain but i can handle one day. So can you.

I applaud you decision to join a boot camp. You will be so proud of yourself at the end of the 10 weeks for seeing it through to the end, not to mention the fact you wil be able to kick a$$ lol.

Keep posting I look forward to reading about your success.
