I was doing so good for a while, than I met a guy (ug...) and was all about him and how great he made me feel. The up side- I lost more wieght cuz all I could do was think and be about him. The down side- didnt work out and was depressed  (still slightly am) GAINED all back and now difficult to get back on track with the gym/food/keeping diary/seeking support.
S  o here I am.....and Horray for me! I actually am outta bed! House is all clean! Work is almost all cuaght up !  They may seem like small stepps but its all that I am capable right now and I am taking steps~thats the only way we get there.

My goal remains 160lbs by summer and am now 198lbs ~~so I gotta get crackin!

Hi Kris,  I have a list of devotions I read everyday.  One of them is "90 % of solving a problem is realizing there is one".  Another good is "your destiny and your dignity are up to you".  And finally "if you don't like something in your life, change it!"  Maybe making a list like this will help you as well.  I have mine at my desk so I can read them everyday and they are two pages long!  Good luck, I know you can do it!!!!  Robin

Kris - You are a unique, unrepeatable miracle of God (as we all are)  - you are COMPLETE AND WHOLE - others can enhance you but they cannot complete you.  Love, respect, nurture, treasure, and care for yourself as much as you do others.  You are worth it!

I'm so glad you're back and so happy you are beginning to smell the flowers again.  What strength you have for that's a monumental step forward.     There are no small steps, all steps forward are giant steps for change is always a great big leap from where we are.  You're dong great

Have a joyful BOTT day   I sure believe in you - now you believe in you.

Kris, welcome to BOTTing. This is a good place to come for accountability and support. The thing that has helped me most is planning my meals and snacks and tracking my progress on Fitday.com. Post as often as you need and I'll see you around the board.

Hi Kris

Welcome to our little family    I think the hardest part of taking on anything in life is two fold....recognizing you have a problem and taking action, and  you have done both

We have a saying around here, Don't Look Back Unless You Are Headed There...so no more what ifs just what nows

Wayne is right, if you try to do to many things at once it will defeat  you and be a reminder of how far you have fallen....take it baby steps at a time, make a list of all the actions  you need to take to get back on track....make one change a week or two and then plan, plan, plan.

We are here for  you all the way

Take care,
Kathy
