FYI - protein

i am not a fan of protein powder or protein shakes at all!!!!

just got a shipment of syntrax nectars and i have to report and give 2 thumbs up

the cappucino flavor was blended with skim milk and some coffee and cinnimon and ice and it tasted sooooooooo yummy!

the fuzzy naval tastes good, too (the other flavors... not so good)..

the best part is- 90 calories and almost 30 grams of protein, zero carbs and zero sugar!!!!!

just wanted to share in case you, like me, has a hard time with yucky protein shakes...

Syntrax Nectars...MY protein drinks of choice. Fuzzy Navel is my fave.

my favorite is the lemon tea. I never thought of doing to cappacino like you did. If I get anouther sample I will try that.

Were did you get /buy them?...I am a real also when it comes to any thing funcky tasting....I haveso tried and tossed many I gave up on drinking any kind of protein shakes.....but I know that it would really help me if i could just get one in every now and then....especially those days that I am running in ten directions at once....Thanks *.* June.

I bought mine from vitacost.com. You can google it and get it pretty much anywhere. I will say that I did read lots of reviews before buying and the general concensus was that Fuzzy Naval was the best bet. That's the only one without negative reviews. It's not thick and tastes like juice. The other favorite that I saw (I will try it next time) was

The apple is supposed to taste very tart, like an apple jolly rancher- some loved it, some hated.

The cappucino i liked (except the initial smell and the clumping that happened when added to ho****er)... it's best as an iced coffee or mixing it with low fat milk and cinnimon and nuking for 50 seconds. Its also great with caramel, vanilla or almond s/f flavoring.

Cherry's feedback was cough medicine taste and bad after taste...

Some loved the tea (despite the sludgy appearance) and others hated it...
same story with the roadside lemonade.

Many have said that they taste better adding crystal light instead of water... I suppose you have to figure out what works for your palate.

Don't get me wrong.. I would not drink this stuff if i did not have to!!!! BUT since i need to get the protein in, this is the best way i have found thus far due to tolerating the taste and the no carb, low calorie, no fat thing....
