Going, Going, Gone....
Don't know what that meal is - but a friend of mine suggested if there's something I really like pre-surgery, that I make it and keep an EXACT count of the calories in each ingredient. Then determine the size and amount of each serving (and freeze any left overs you might have in one serving amounts) That way you will never have to calculate calories again and you can have the thing you like. Since I haven't a "domestic cell" in my whole body (if you can't nuke it, I don't cook it LOL) a venison & pork sausage (yes, you can nuke this!) I mix up is the only food I measure but sounds like a fine idea for you folks *****ally do cook.
Just thought I'd pass it along as a helpful hint You probably are already doing it - just had never occured to me.
