***Water Tip!!!***

I have had a hard time tolerating water ever since my RNY revision.  It sits like lead in my pouch and makes me throw up sometimes.  If I add Crystal Light to it, I can get it down without trouble, but I don't want to add things to it (I need/want to limit my SF products).  I also miss my plain ice cold water :(

So... I tried different brands of bottled water and all gave me trouble but I did find something that works.  I have a Pur filter on my kitchen sink faucet and filled up a glass, threw a straw in it, and tried to drink it that way (room temp, not too cold).  I was able to drink it without trouble.  I then tried it ice cold and I could drink it that way too.  For some reason, tap water (just your average filter, nothing fancy) was fine with my pouch.  I could tolerate the tap water without the filter... but bottled water... gave me trouble.  So I tried a brand that is just filtered water... Publix sells their own water, which is just a basic filter of tap water... not spring water (so, basically what my sink does) and I could tolerate tha****er.

I have no idea if this helps others... but I thought I'd pass on what I found out...

Oh... BTW... South Beach Diet makes "Tide Me Over" drinks and the Strawberry Banana flavor rocks.

That's interesting.  I'm glad you found something that works.  I train leaders and teach and the issue of water comes up often.  I'm going to remember your tip.  Thanks for sharing it!!
