I have a revision scheduled on Monday and I am really nervous about screwing it up.  However, I am really trying to wrap my head around the whole change in eating lifestyle so this group should be perfect.

I tend to drop out of everything when I start failing so I am going to try to give myself a break and get back on track with this group!

Thanks for being here!

You have made a great decision by coming back to a support group. Good luck with your revision, I will be praying for you.

Hi Ames,

Thank you so much for reading my post and keeping me encouraged.  I truly wish you the best with you upcoming revision.  I'm excited for you and have thought about it, but unfortunately my husband insurance has changed and they do not approve "cosmetic" surgeries....They are just crazy....Anyway, I'll keep you in my prayers.

Many Blessings,
Marilyn

Ames:

Good luck, dearie! We're all in the same boat! I reached goal then I gained some back. Over Christmas - then got depressed. Have to keep moving and follow the rules - so hard to do sometimes. However, right after surgery and I had lost about 30 lbs I was at a summer party and a woman commented to me that, "Oh, I had a friend who had that surgery and gained back all her weight, plus!" I was so mad at her negative comment, that I vowed that would never happen to me. So, it's a day at a time and we BOTTs can do this together.
Hugs,

Good luck with your surgery next week!  I am also like you and retreat into myself when I get depressed or am struggling....times when I really need to be reaching out for help.  Let us know how your surgery goes.  Best wishes!

Hi Ames,

A great big BOTT welcome to you.  This is a wonderful group so I hope you'll hang out and post with us.  It has made a huge difference for me and my BOT progress.

All the best to you on Monday.  Congratulations to you for taking charge of your health and doing what it takes to be successful and regain your health.

You are not alone in dropping out of things when you fail.  I do the same thing.  Stay with us as we all need each other.

Hugs, Cathy
