Tuesday - BOTT Cafe and Cardio
Hi BOTTs!
I keep a gratitude journal and write in it daily for the things I'm grateful for. I reviewed my past entries and there are so many that involve our BOTT group and all of you. This group is so rewarding and fulfilling to me. Thanks to each and every one of you.
Here's my check-in for today:
CARDIO: Taking day off so I don't overdo. Feels great though to be able to start doing something to move. Although I'm having to take it slow and easy, it is something to get to the level of activity I am accustomed to.
FOOD:
B - Cottage cheese
S - Small apple and string cheese
L - Turkey and White Cheddar Kruncheez
D - Morningstar Soy Sausages and green beans
S - Fiber One bar

Hi Cathy, This is my first time BOTTing, I have been with the group for appx 20 days, and I would like to report I have lost 12lbs so far.....Yipppppeeeeeeee
I work full time on the weekends and attend school on Mon, Wed Mornings and Thurs Night...right now I don't have much time for cardio but I do get walking in a few times a week depending on my homework load....but I will be done with the morning classes on May 4th, so I plan to start a regular morning work out routine.
FOOD:
B-Pure Protein Bar (Chocolate Deluxe)
S-String cheese/ham roll-up
L-Cottage cheese
D- Taco Soup/w cheese
S-Sugar Free Jello with lite fruit ****tail and ff cool whip

I love Taco Soup. If you don't mind, would you share your recipe or what it is? I hae a recipe that is not wls-friendly.
I also love your idea of a string cheese/ham roll-up. I'm going to give that a try. That's one of things I love about the check-in because I've obtained so many great ideas for food.

I like the idea of a gratitude journal. We all have so much to be thankful for and its good to see it put down in front of you.
Cardio: took my dog for a LONG walk. First time for a long time that I conciously (sp) excercised.
B: 2 pieces toast and coffee
S: 1oz chicken 1oz turkey
L: 6oz shredded chicken w hot sauce
S: 1oz chicken w protien bar
D: sm baked potato with 1 oz cheese and shredded chicken
S: 2oz turkey
Water: 210oz
Vits: all

I love my gratitude journal. It has been so helpful. After watching the news and all the gloom and doom that is around with the economy and the future, it helps me so much to focus on the blessings I'm so grateful for.

Yesterday was great! I met all my goals. Today is walking at morning and afternoon breaks and lower body strength training after work.
Food for today:
B-Low Carb tortilla w/taco meat, cheese & salsa
S-Low Carb Yogurt w/2 T sunflower kernels
L-Turkey Chili w/cheese
S-Protein Shake
D-Turkey Chili w/cheese
After workout - Protein Shake
1486 Calories, 83 Carbs, 54 Fat, 156 Protein
100oz. Water
Food for today:

It was a crazy day today, running all over town. I will do my cardio this p.m. My meals for today:
Breakfast - steel cut oatmeal
Snack - banana w/almonds
Lunch - ham and cheese roll
Snack - 1/2 apple w/peanut butter
Dinner - beef fajitas lettuce roll
Snack - fage w/sf caramel
