OK I searched for a good map and i'm not having much luck  This is the closest I could find I have not tried any printing yet...

Its a google map and you have to zoom in to get info it looks the most dooable

So where we chart it on a map or chart it will miles completed, the walk is 2,175 miles
Sunday is March 1st, I think that sounds like a good day to start the journey,

So for those interested, I'll post on Sunday (as long as my brain remembers : ) so keep me straight on this...   And maybe we do weekly (or as suggested) updates.  For me I'm starting at the northern most point and heading south?  Maybe its my poli****alian logic (i can say that because I am : ) not to offend anyone)   but its always easier to head down the hill and walking south seems like down the hill...   Thats what works for me and i'm sticking to it.  Now I did read over the weekend that when hiking you have (as we all know) various forms of terrain ...  So to help adjust to that, I will be working my incline thru my walk to have it semi immitate the change in terrain...

So 6 days to the start of your 2,175 walk... hoo rah   Maria

Thanks Maria, sounds like a great challenge, I may do some of it on the bike!!!!  Just mix it up a little, but still log the miles.  Can't wait to get started.... Robin

Robin, what a great idea, I like the mixing it up.. my niece has an elipitical and my sister has a bike so maybe I'll go visit them and use their equipment.  I also live very close to part of the trail that runs thru central PA and actually do hike it sometimes so I will be sure to add those miles to my total.   Maria
