Hey Everyone,

Are you sore today?  Sore is good, no pain just sore...  I took on way to much yesterday and may have to do one body part at a time but increase the sets and reps until I get back in shape.  My push and pull days plus cardio was what I was doing months ago.  Remember what I said about being flexible.... 

It's strange for me I get sore day 2 after the workout ....I don't get it

So today for me is cardio....3 miles on the treadmill, incline 6 and cardio boxing workout tonight.

I worked 12 hours yesterday so I didn't get to go to the gym and I was short on water intake, but I am back on track today... Zumba at 530 tonight followed by weight lifting.

Yesterday:
Water 33 ozs
Protein 77 grams
No workout......

Today I plan to meet all my daily goals!  Missing my workout yesterday actually wasn't so bad, I had done Zumba and Spin Class on Monday and it is good to have a recovery day after a really hard workout.  Protein decaf coffee is my life saver, it ups my fluids and my protein intake for the day!!!!!

I mix my creamer and sugar with a scoop of protein powder until smooth and the protein is dissolved then I mix it into a hot cup of decaf coffee and my coffee turns into 20 grams of protein =)  It's awesome.  I can't have caffeine, but love coffee and tend to drink it easier than water so I made it into a protein source.  Warning:  putting protein into hot coffee in powder form just makes it clump up.  If I have left over cold coffee, I will mix in the powder and then heat it in the microwave.  This works great as well.  Enjoy... You are right about Jazzercise, it is never boring and the music is great!!!  My favorite routines right now are songs by Pink and the *****cat Dolls.

I hope to make class tonight, it will depend on the weather since I'm a Southern girls and don't like to drive in the snow....if I don't make it I have a Jazzercise DVD I can do it at home.  Either way I will get my fix of Jazzercise today!!!

I hope everyone has a great time working out, I do believe for you to make it a part of your day it must be fun.

Thanks to you I am going to see if my Y has those classes and try one.  It sounds really fun!!!!

Be careful on the roads, but I love you have a plan B and not use the weather as an excuse

Yep...a very nice soreness indeed! It lets me know that I am doing something right and going in the right direction.

Susan, I love the whole jazzersize and aerobics thing too. It is so much that I don't feel like it is exercise.

With that said...I am a creature of habit and don't usually change things up too much. I need a 1/2 hour on the elliptical machine, 50 minutes of aerobics and 10min with weights.

You are all doing wonderful. Keep up the great work!

Hi Kathy,
Believe it or not I don't get sore after a workout unless my trainer increases the weight on the machines. It fact I felt pretty good today.  I didn't have time to do any exercising today...for anyone who has taken their 86 year old Mom shopping, that in itself is an exercise function.  Had a good day with her, but boy did she wear me out!

Will try to workout with Leslie Sansone tonight.
