why am I quitting?
I quit smoking on Monday & I have to say I am asking myself " why am I quitting?'
Help me remember why because right now I really want one.
I talked myself out of exercisng this mornig.
was feeling sorry for myself.
I did journal what I have eaten today.
It's 4PM & I'm already at my cal amount for the day. So now I can't have a smoke & I can't have anything else to eat.
OK I'm done whining. I just needed to put it in writing. And cry a little pitty party for me.
I'm at work so I can't pick up the lost exercise. But I can TRY to control what goes into my mouth.
I am on track with the water.
I just feel like such a loser . This AM my wt was up 1 lb. I know 1 lb isn't that much but it was 181 & anything with an 8 in it scares the crap out of me. I think that the wt being up probably started the day off bad & I've just let it go downhill from there. I should of joined the scale challenge here, but I need to weigh daily.lol. I need to boost my matabolism to get things going again but not motavated most days. don't give it my all. I know strength training does that very thing.

Don't feel bad, trying to quit smoking is the HARDEST thing to do. Have you thought maybe you need some help...have you talked to your physician about something to help you with the cravings. Patches help...you won't go cold turkey and you get off of them slowly. Don't feel bad you can't do it all by yourself, we all need help.
I am not sure why you were out of food at 4:00...you can't go that long without eating. What are you eating and when?
THROW THAT SCALE AWAY!!!!

You are quitting smoking because you want to live your new life to the fullest!!!!! Smoking like Obesity seriously shortens your life span and your quality of life! Think how much the weight loss has improved your life and times that by two for how much stopping smoking will improve your health and your life. I even notice that my house and clothes smell better and of course my oral hygiene is so much improved! My dentist is very proud of me and we whitened my teeth recently! He doesn't even bother with smokers because it is pretty much a waste of money. Good luck, I know how hard it is... Robin
