Greetings to BOTTers,

I hope everyone is having a great week and had a nice President's Day yesterday.

Here is my daily check in:

CARDIO:  Going to the doctor late this week for a check up regarding my sinus infection and bronchitis.  When I get the thumbs up, I'm on my Wii Fit when I get home!

FOOD:

B - Cottage cheese
S - Pear
L - Turkey and cheddar sandwich on high fiber bread
S - String cheese
D - Morningstar Soy Sausages (6)
S - Power Crunch bar

CHECK IN:  I'm excited because I co-taught my class at Bariatric University.  We are coming up at the end of this particular course.  It is so much fun to see how the coaching students have progressed throughout the time.  They are in their oral finals and they did very well.  I am going to teach the next course with one of the other instructors - just the two of us so I'll be doing much more.  It is rewarding to be able to pass along what has been passed along to me throughout my coaching career AND to be able to introduce and represent OH to other students.

Have a terrific BOTT Tuesday!

I am happy, I went 45 min. on the treadmill last night instead of 30. I am not cleard for weights yet as they messed up my arm two weeks ago when I tried to donate blood and it still severely bruised and SORE! So more treadmill tonight.

Food for today:

B-Lowcarb tortilla w/refried beans, egg & cheese
S-Lowcarb yogurt w/2T sunflower kernels
L-Turkey chili
S-Edamame and string cheese
D-Beef -n- Broccoli w/brown rice
S-Protein shake

Very excited as a sent my application to go back to college yesterday. I am working for a degree in nutrition. We have so many people that travel for surgery since we do not have a program here that I would love to work with surgery patients here so they do not have to travel 3-5 hours to see a nutritionist. If that is not an option I would love to work in the school district to help raise healthier children.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day!

Hi!
My computer died a few days ago and I'm using an old one until mine gets fixed.  OMG!!! I can walk to the library faster than this thing loads a page.  I have no patience!  I won't be posting much for a while.

I am doing double cardio workouts.  I have been going the the a.m. because it's less crowded and I have more access to the machines.  Then I go in the p.m. with my husband or else he won't work out.  We'll see how long I can keep this up.

Food for today:
Breakfast - protein bar
Snack - almonds
Lunch - chili
Snack - 1/2 apple w/peanut butter
Dinner - steak w/veggies
Snack - 1/2 c. fage

Have a great day!
