Sunday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

I hope everyone had a nice BOTT Valentine's Day.  I'm still celebrating considering it is Valentine's weekend rather than a day!! 

Here's my check in for today:

CARDIO:  Coming soon.......

FOOD:

B - Southwestern Egg Beaters w/extra veggies
L - Turkey, cheddar and grilled apple sandwich
D - Going out to dinner for an extended Valentine's Day celebration - I commit to healthy choices
S - Power Crunch bar

CHECK IN:  Flexibility is important......I wanted to go out and do family things yesterday.  We were going to take a drive which is something I love.  Discovery and adventure as to what we'll find along the drive. Mid-morning, one of my sons had an upset stomach so we came home and hung out.  No big deal.....it was an opportunity to let him know that him and how he was feeling takes priority to anything we had planned.  We're going to try again today.

good day for at home cardio since we are having one heck of a storm here in No. Cal.  DS and I will do Wii Fit (most likely, he is 12 afterall!!)

Food choices:

B~ decaf skinny caramel latte
S~not sure yet, its early!!
L~grilled chicken salad
D~pasta for the boys and turkey meatballs, brasciole and salad for me
S~trying  not to have a snack after dinner.....

DH is away this week so there was no tempting chocolate in the house for Love Day.  I even passed up dessert on Friday night which was my birthday.  All in all, not to bad!  Definitely learning to decide which things I want to eat vs. which things I need to eat (protein etc.)

Today is a new day.  I had being doing OK food wise last week, and did some exercises. 
This week I am planning to step up a notch, and increase my exercises but only every 2 days.  I have a very busy week schedule - so if I can do that every 2 days - it would be awesome.  (I scheduled that - so there is hope).
As for food - I am afraid I need to stay on liquids for a while.  Not happy about it, but lately - every time I eat (or almost every time) I hurt, bad, or very bad.  Not sure why., but last week I was too busy to call my doc, and I was hoping it would pass.  It did not, so next week I will have to see him, or the week after (what my work schedule will allow).  
It sucks a bit, but that is life.  

Probably would need EGD to check for ulcers (hope it is just that and not twisted intestines).  
There is a lot of stress in my work, a lot of urgent projects that were put on hold because I was traveling, etc.  The only problem is that I should just maintain my weight +/- 5 lbs at this moment, so there is not much more I can afford to lose... I do not want to start snacking on carbs, because : 1. if I do then I crave them, 2. if I do - It hurts much more afterwords.  

on a good side - I will not be traveling for any extensive time until the end of March so I can be home and relax and rest, (while working 12 hrs per day).  And my weekends are mine.... 
It is so beautiful today in SC. Sunny, a *****illy, but beautiful.  My cat just got back in from her morning walk, and she is happy I am here.  She is so soft and cuddly... 

Have fun exercising...I will do my share on my new vibration machine (that I just got and I have to assemble and try for sure...).

Hi!
I will be doing cardio later in the day.  Today is the day that I kick it up a notch.  Looking forward to Kathy's exercise routine.  My meals for today:
Breakfast - apple, almonds and raisins
Snack - 1 T peanut butter
Lunch - chili
Dinner - chicken w/veggies
Snack - fage w/sf caramel

Didn't do anything special for Valentine's Day, just snuggled with my ****er Spaniel and ate things I shouldn't have. 

CARDIO:
30 mins - Dancing (Shake My Groove Thing)
30 mins - Treadmill 3.5mph - 5mph (Walk-Run)

My menu for today:
EM - EAS Chocolate Protein Shake
B -    2 Egg Spinach & Cheese Omelet (eggs made me sick?)
S -    Spinach Quiche
L -    Grilled Chicken Salad w/ LF Italian Dressing
S -    Vegetarian Vegetable Soup
D -    Grilled Salmon w/green beans
S -    EAS Chocolate Protein Shake??? (maybe)
