ok so i had a few minutes this morning and watched the infomercial about hip hop abs and was tempted to buy. soooo my question is.... has anyone bought or used the cardio rouitne? and if not can anyone recommend a good one?

Hi,

I was a video workout junkie.  I used Jane Fonda, Kathy Smith, Richard Simmons, Hip Hop ??? (don't remember the exact name), some inspirational videos from Integrety Music and Tybo.  All of the above worked fairly well except I thought Kathy Smith was a bit too intense and the hip hop too.  I wish I still had some of them.  With all of our moving, I lost them.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

I have been sooooo tempted to order the hip hop one too!  It is hard for me to do any sort of tape workout my dogs go nuts (although if I could see what I look like doing it I probably would too)!  Luckily I have an at home gym, however right now it is collecting a TON of dust, has not been used since I was told to stop working out while I was preggers (I was classified a high risk pregnancy). 

I just have to get my rear in gear and start again.  We are moving into temporary housing while our house is being built and they have a gym there, I think I will use that one to get me back into the swing of things.  Just need to find something to do with my daughter while I workout...

Hi Jessica,

Everyone through their TV service has a fit tv channel.  Check out some of the hip hop workout routines there and see how you like them before you buy.  Also, try your local library, they have DVD's you can rent before  you buy

Kudos to you for realizing the importance of working out....

I did 90 minutes in the pool: lap swimming, lap jogging, water weight lifting, and stairclimbing (400)!  If I can just get my eating back to basics, I know the weight will just fall off.

This is the year.  Stay tuned....
