5DPT- Day 3

Morning 5DPTers~

Here we are already, day 3!  My this seems to be going by pretty fast this time around! I seem to be doing pretty well, I had a few moments yesterday when it was a little hard to stay strong and not find something to munch on, but proud to report that I stayed true! Even when I was at Sam's and they were sampling Chocolate cake, OMG, it smelled soooooo good!

I would love to hear what you are planning on eating today, now that we can have some substance... I have a can of Tuna that I am going to be eating for breakfast, I know does not sound all that great, but I have been CRAVING tuna, so I am gonna eat it. 

Some people from work are taking me out to lunch today and another group tomorrow for my going away, so I am planning on having fish at lunch today, have not thought about tomorrow....

Yesterday was a repeat from the day before as far as intake goes....

SF Iced Coffee
Protein Shakes
Decaf Iced Tea/Hot Tea
SF Lemonade
SF Jell-o
SF Pudding

Alas, I am back to day 1. I did so well all day, and then around 8 pm last night I blew it and ate my son's leftover PB&J sandwich. Ugh!!!

I am completely addicted to carbs. But I am taking the advice of other BOTTers and literally going five minutes at a time when I have those cravings. Tonight will be easier as I will be in class during my hardest self-control period, 6-9 pm.

I hope to be joining you in a can of tuna soon! Not literally, of course. That would be a tight fit!

LOL, yes that would be a tight fit!  Sorry that the PB&J got you last night!  I know how tempting it is, and it is VERY hard to not give in...  Good luck and remember, stay strong!

I looked back at day 3 in my food diary and here is what it says....
2 cups of coffee
1 scrambled egg
cottage cheese
Plain French Onion soup
cottage cheese
tuna
choc pudding

a whoppin' 820 cal, 83g protein and 55 gm carb

Hi Jen!

This is GREAT to have, I really struggle with finding stuff to eat when I get to day 3-5!  I am going to keep this in a safe place to have for next time (I plan on doing the 5DPT once a month).  would you mind sharing what you did for day 4 and 5 as well?
