I'm wondering if I actually need to purchase the 5 day test plan or if people have found there's enough info on the site to do it.

I am currently on day 2, and do not have the plan that they sell.  I find that there is enough info on the Internet to get through the 5 days.

I so wish I would have found this group a few days ago!  I would have joined you all in the 5DPT.  I really need to get myself back on track.  I think I will start it monday though.  Thurs is my daughters class V-day party, Friday is my 9th wedding anniversary and of course V-day is Sat so I don't want to miss out on some of the yummy goodies.  Hopefully there will be someone out there willing to brave the 5DPT with me next week!

 I'm going to get the food this weekend and start it Monday.  I've gotten to the point where I can eat as much if not more than my husband.  NOT GOOD!  I don't want another summer to roll around and be miserable while everyone else is wearing shorts and doing fun things.  Not to mention I have no clothes now because I've outgrown them.  Sigh...

So...I'll be your buddy for the 5DPT if you want.  I'm normally on the computer at night after work. 

We worked so hard to have the surgery, and took a huge risk too.  I think we need to pull up our boot straps.  You with me?

I'm SOOOOOOO with you!  Together we can do it!

I've been bouncing around the same 3 lbs and its starting to really aggravate me!  Not to mention that I'm almost 2 years out and I never "officially" made it to MY goal.  Doc's goal was 199 so I'm okay there....I personally wanted to get down to 180-185. 

Can't wait to start on Monday!  Going out this weekend to see if I can't find my favorite protein!

i found a 5 day pouch test journal online.  I originally went to the website but the information was scattered.  This journal has spots to put your energy level throughout the day, food, activity, motivation as well as the foods you can have each day - so it's all together.

Sounds like you aren't too far off the path :)  But I will caution you, I'm 7 years out and I never got to my goal weight either.  Then I gained weight.  

231/135/175  My goal is 115 - 120 (I'm 5'2")

So it's important for us to get back on track or we could end up back where we started.  I'm heading down that path and I'm scared to death.  We can do it!

I just wanted to pop in and say good luck next week!  I have committed to do ing the 5DPT once a month going forward, I figured it would really keep me on track!!!

Hi there!  I've been thinking about doing it on a regular basis as well, at least until I have myself under control.  I know we can do it - it's mind over matter.....
