Hey BOTT's

They are saying we are going to break some records today.  So I am getting out and biking, walking the dog and doing all my exercise outside.  It's a tease as winter is not over but I am going to enjoy it big time

So My Friends, Did You Move To Lose Today and or Maintain?  Come on in and let's be accountable for our exercise and inspire others to Move To Lose

Take care,
Kathy

Well, I plan to move to lose today.  I did move to lose yesterday - of course, I was muttering to myself every step I took (I call it trudging when I exercise but am really not in the notion of doing it)  Actually did very well - welked two miles and cut my time down to 22 minute miles.   I called my walking buddy to confirm time and place a got no answer  Ah Ha - a guilt free way of not walking!  Well, she called back a few minutes later - she had been out in her yard trimming, racking (and picking her lemons) and was too tired to go walking.  No way around it, she had burned way more calories working in her yard all day than I'd burn walking two miles.  Besides she was telling me how nice it was outside (she doesn't get as cold as I do) so then I really had no "reason" (read excuse)  So, I went to the park and walked - all the time muttering "I'll be a better person for doing this."

I love the way you kinda had a good angel bad angel on each shoulder.  I am glad you listened to the good angel and walked!

Way to go, we are very proud of you

Take care,
Kathy

It was still on the cold side here in New England. I did take 2 15 minute walks during breaks today at work. I feel a nasty cold coming on, and I have a bowling tournament this weekend, so I'm taking it easy.
Oh wait, I did burn calories after work scouring the clearance racks at Kohl's. I found 4 of those real soft suede looking shirts 60% off, size MEDIUM! I could'nt decide which colors, but at $12 each I took all 4!

Hi Rich,

Welcome to BOTT's  It's great to see you over here in our little group!

You must be a pretty good bowler if your team is in the tournament.  Do you bowl with your partner?

Don't you just LOVE IT when you can go into a store and buy stuff off the rack.  And Kohl's is a great one to buy for the next season.  You can get an entire wardrobe on clearance for next winter.

Enjoy your shopping and good job getting out and walking....  I hope the warm weather we are getting is headed your way!!

Take care,
Kathy
