Maybe you already know about this but I just discovered it.  As I was cutting through the fresh produce area at Wal-Mart last night I noticed a very small vegetrarian section in the cooler case there.  Saw a product called Smart Dogs.  45 calories per dog (about 2/3 as long as a regular hot dog) and 8 g of protein.  Had 3 dogs last night for supper (Hmm - does that make it a Three Dog Night?)  Not a lot of taste but very good with sugar free pickle chips and something different.

Also remembered a treat from my weigh****cher days and had that for lunch.  1/2 cup cottage cheese (no fat) 80 calories, 15 g protein and a slice of Pepperidge Farm Extra Fiber Wheat Bread 40 calories, 6 g protein.   Yummm

Hebrew National also makes fat free hotdogs....50 cals, 8 grams protein but they have alot of flavor.  I buy mine at super walmart, so if you have one, check there.  I have never been much of a hotdog fan but my kids love them!!!

Thhanks so much for the info.  I love hot dogs (must be the kid in me LOL)  I do have a super Wal-Mart and I'll sure check to see if they have these hot dogs.  I'm guessing they are in the regular hot dog section.

Just kicking in my 2 cents...   Healthy Life also has hot dog and hamburger buns.  They freeze well and taste good too!
Good find!

Those dogs are great, I love them!  I put some mustard on the side to dip them in and it really gives it a good taste!  Pickles, yummm, I love pickles!

I do not, I have never heard of them?  Are the sweet or dill (I am a dill person)?  Where can I find them?  Are they good?

Well, dill pickles have no calories anyway - but regardless of how hard I try to really like dill pickles, the truth is I just don't.  The Mount Olive No Sugar Added are sweet and come as Bread & Butter chips & spears, gerkins, and sweet pickle relish.  All of our groceries here have them at least some of the varieties and all varieties are available at one store or another.  Wal-Mart is the cheapest and they always have the chips and sometimes the other.  The relish they only have in the smaller squeeze bottles - not the quarts (or whatever size the jars are).  I like them a lot.
