What's the Couch to 5K training program?  Sounds interesting.  I am gradually increasing my distance and working on cutting down the time.

a poster listed the information a couple of weeks back, so I decided to try it.

It is an interval (walk/run) training program that is very gradual.  It trains you from doing nothing (the couch part) to running a 5K (3 miles) in about 9 weeks time.  I did a yahoo search for the information and found tons!!

As I stated, I began with week one (duh?!) and then progressed.  got a little too ahead of myself so I backed up for a couple of days.  Now, I am trying to string together my walking intervals with my running intervals so that I can run longer.

it is a great program and I have always felt that exercise was not my friend.  I kind of look forward to doing this.  Try it....you might find that you like it.  Let me know what you think.  I would be very interested.

Have a great Sunday!!

Thanks - guess that's what I've kind of done on my own as I walked 3 miles in the park yesterday.
