Way OT-- Need Gift Ideas / help (X-post)

Good Morning All,

I am moving to VA and would like to give the lactation consultants that I have been working with (for assistance) a gift... I can not find anything that is specifically for lactation consultants, so I was thinking of making something... I do not know what it is called when you take a word and spell it out but put a word next to it (guess I should have paid attention in English)... Example:
D-Daring
E-Enthusiastic
N-Nice
Blah, blah, blah....

I was thinking of doing one that uses:
B
A
B
Y

C
A
F
E

or the word Lactation consultant, not sure, I think I would like to stay with the first one, I know I can get it all on one page....

Can any of you help me out, these women mean a lot to me, they have helped me with so much, and have assisted me with all my BF issues, I really want to make something special for them.  Does anyone have any other ideas of what I can get/make for them as well?

I can't help with your initial idea.  Sorry...  I'm sure that anything  you give them would be appreciated.  When my daughter had her baby, I made a give basket for the nurses.  I bought some flavored coffee packages, cookies and candy.  I made all of it into a pretty basket and they all loved it. 

That is a good idea, I think I will do something like that as an addition.

Not great - but a wee start - hopefully you'll get a lot of super ideas  Think it's a marvelous idea you have.  I know it will mean a lot to them.

LOVE IT!!!!  I think I will be using that one, it is awesome!  I espically love the CAFE part.
