Happy Friday to BOTTers!

My kids went back to school but only a half day. They were ; I am very !!
Although my husband is sick and stayed home from work today.  He NEVER stays home sick so that is a lot.

I'm feeling better but as the doctor told me that if I did too much too soon that I could relapse.  I taught three classes on Mon., Tues. and Wed. so my voice was shot.  I'm feeling better today.  It is so sweet to be sick and feel badly for awhile to finally feel like yourself again.  Our health is our most precious asset we have!

Here's my check-in:

CARDIO:  If I continue to feel better, I'm going to do a little step on Wii Fit on Sunday.

FOOD:

B - 2 scrambled eggs
L - Turkey and White Cheddar Kruncheez
S - Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
D - BLT with turkey bacon and high fiber bread
S - Power Crunch bar

Happy BOTTing!

Cathy

Hey there and yesssssss... I finally got the messages and I think have joined the Back on Track.  Otherwise I could not write this message.  Ok, I am frustrated with the weight gain and my eating.  I need help.  I have tried the five day pouch  diet but I could not get through the whole day I end up eating by mid afternoon.  Any suggestions??????  I can try harder I guess.  Anyone please help.  Susie

I suggest you scale back your demands a bit right now - instead of looking way down the road until you are at goal weight, take it one day, from one meal to the next or even minuite by minute.  We can do almost anything for 5 minutes - then when that 5 minutes is up, we can start on the next 5 minutes.  And make no mistake about it, when getting back on track, controlling our eating is ABSOLUTELY an accomplishment that calls for celebration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When your feelings tell you you MUST eat and your head tells you NO WAY - sign on and chat with us.  We're here for you - just reach out.    We're all in this together  Before you know it you will be galloping down the road toward your goal weight

Cathy teaches us that the first day of compliance is the hardest - so make your goal to be compliant for five minutes after five minutes after five minutes just for today.  Tomorrow you can set new food goals if you want to.

For the record, I've never know anyone who died because they were hungry (and let's face it, we're "head hungry" - "not tummy hungry") and postponed eating "those foods" for 24 hours.

I believe in your - you can do it - now, please believe in yourself

Thanks for the support I think I need to chill out a bit and it's funny you mentioning taking things one minute at a time cause that is how I got through yesterday's eating.  thanks again.
Now that I have joined BACK  on TRACK where do I start?  Is there something I should be trying to do?  You mentioned that Cathy teaches the first day of compliance is the hardest........
So, am I setting my own goals or is there something I should be trying that BACK on TRACK suggests?  I did work out today and I will write my food down.  thanks Susie

All you need to do is just be you - whoever "you" is at that time.  This is undoubtedly the most positive, caring, supportive, accepting group of folks I've ever found.

This is a place to share you successess and confess your blunders and know that we will celebrate with you and understand because we've all been there and done that.

Check in with the site as often as your schedule allows.  I believe that it is vital for our success to both give and receive support.  I've found that it's impossible to give support without also receiving support.  So, respond to any message that resonates with you.

Again, welcome.  I'm so glad you've joined us.  We'll all be richer for your participation.

I commit to a BOTT day of food.

Finally gave in and went to the dr yesterday for my pain and found out I did not have a joint or muscle problem but an inflammed nerve root instead and that's why my muscle relaxants weren't helping.  (I didn't even know my nerves had roots LOL)  The medication he prescribed has already helped so have high hopes of getting some walking in tomorrow.

Let's all have some non-caloric fun today
