Sounds as though you did a lot that was right yesterday and are off to a good start today.  Hurray for you that you didn't let your straying from BOTT track eating completely destroy your day!!!

Thanks to all who answered my cry for help yesterday.  I woke up this morning and decided I'm going to take it one day at a time.  I read a post from Maureen yesterday that really helped me out.  She said we can all do what we need to do for one day and just concentrate on that.

Exercise - Jazzercise Personal Training 30 minutes,
Regular Jazzercise class 1 hour = 40 minutes of Cardio and 20 minutes
                   strength training

B - Egg White Flat Bread sandwich from Dunkin Donuts
S - 100 calorie pack of Almonds
L - Reg. Fage Yogurt with Strawberry/banana sugar free jello powder added for flavor (yum)
S - Click (just tried this and YUM and I don't even really like coffee-great protein drink)
D - Mushroom and cheese stuffed chicken breast
S - 100 calorie popcorn

I'm determined to Get Back on Track.........One Day At a Time!!!!!!!

Hi all!

Cardio:  only did 30 min. cardio at the gym this morn.  I got a late start & have lots of stuff to do today, but . . . way better than nothing!

Cafe:
B--EAS choc protein drink
S--ran out of time!
L--bean salad (black beans, red beans, black-eyed peas, mexi corn--marinated in lt. Italian dressing)--and some tuna/shredded cheese on 1 slice whole wheat bread
S--1/2 Oh Yeah protein bar
D--baked chicken breast w/ mustard/honey marinate; green beans
S--plan to try really hard to stick to a HIGH PROTEIN snack.

I am really still struggling with evening grazing . . .  It's so frustrating to go through the day making pretty decent choices, going to the gym to work out, and then un-doing everything in the evening.  I am NOT having the feeding frenzies that I was before BOTT, but I am still eating way too much in the evenings.

Always,
Jo

I celebrate your progress with you

What if you planned some "play" for the evening - bet you wouldn't even think about grazing.  Sounds as though the problem could be boredom.

Thanks for your "play" comment.   I do know that one of my problems is that my husband is always out in the family room w/ his laptop & "his" TV shows--while I'm always in our computer room/den with my desktop and "my" TV shows!!  So I'm sorta isolated, which, as we all know, can easily lead to sneak-eating & grazing even on good foods.  One thing I may do is tape some of my fav TV shows to watch when I'm feeling stronger during the day (on days when I'm not sub teaching), and just suck it up and be out in the family room w/ Ron.

Also, I am starting to work on a large counted cross-stitch project, which does help me to keep my hands busy--and I can't just graze while I'm doing it.  (Unfortunately, even this doesn't always keep me from taking "breaks"--but it does help.)

Thanks so much for your reply!  I love BOTT friends!!!!!

Always,
Jo

Wow - there's something else we have  Once I get started, I just keep going and going so I don't dare start stitching when I have to go to work the next day.  The shop where I get my supplies has one evening a week for folks to gather in and chat and stitch and we are always welcome to come in and stitch when the shop is open.  Is there a possiblity you could gather together a few stitchers in your home (or theirs) and stitch together.  Sometimes it just takes one idividual to take the bull by the horns and say, "Let's get together" for it to take hold and become a reality.

I wish you well on setting out on a new adventure.

Somehow a whole section of my comments disappeared so the first part of my above comments doesn't make a whole lot of sense LOL   I originally said  Wow - there's something else we have in common.  I love to do counted cross stitch and even more geometric needlepoint designs.  Once........

I chuckled when I read your post--the 1st one w/ the missing words--because I figured you just had a "brain f*rt" like I often do!!

My counted cross-stitch is a beach scene (w/ a love verse on it) for my daughter, who is getting married on Aug. 1.  It's not a traditional "wedding sampler"--this is more "her"--and she will be very surprised!  She lives in Chicago, loves to spend as much time as she can on the beach of Lake Michigan in the summer, & they are going to Hawaii for their honeymoon, so I thought this was fitting!

Aug. 1--you'd think that alone would be my motivation for BOTT; however, deadlines like that have often backfired on me in the past!  But I absolutely refuse to start looking for my MOB dress until I've gotten at least a little weight off!

Always,
Jo
