Good Morning!

Just waiting for my breakfast to settle and then I'm off to do 3mile WATP, crunches and pushups for this morning. Plan on do 30min on the bike tonite. Have my 4yr check up with my surgeon tomorrow so I want to look and feel my best!

Food~

B~egg w/cheese
S~protein shake
L~salad w/chicken, cheese, croutons, ranch
S~protein bar
D~probably that buffalo chicken pizza that I made~YUM!
S~protein shake

I was reading an article about going to bed on a protein shake or a high protein snack being very good for you. It keeps the metabolism going overnight and you don't wake up running on empty. I have always had something high protein in the evening and I do feel like it helps! Anyone else experience this??

How do you make your buffalo chicken pizza?  It sounds like a great plan for tomorrow night, which is sorta unofficially pizza night around here!

Thanks, also, for the tip about eating or drinking protein late at night. 

Good luck at your 4-yr. check-up tomorrow!

Hi Jo! Its really easy and so good~here's the recipe:

1 whole wheat tortilla
2-3T buffalo wing sauce
Mozzarella cheese (called for low fat, but I used regular)
Strips of cooked chicken

Spray the tortilla w/light cooking spray on both sides and quickly brown in a pan. then top with sauce, cheese and chicken. Cook in oven at 375 for 5-6 min. The calories aren't too bad and the protein is pretty high. The sauce I used only had 15cal per Tablespoon. I supposed if you like veggies you could add those too~maybe mushrooms or whatever~I'm just not a veggie person, LOL!

Thanks, Tracy--perfect timing--I was just about ready to walk out the door to go to the store, so I added a few ingredients!  I am making these tomorrow evening--my DH will like them too.  I will also add mushrooms & maybe some green pepper!  Sounds great!

Not the best of days - for some unkown reason I woke up this morning holding water which resulted in considerable pain in my plantar faschia, which means no walking for today.
 
But I do commit to a fine BOTT food day.

Amazingly, I'm not  panicking - pretty serene about the whole thing actually thanks to you folks out there.  Am seeing as Mother Nature testing me to see if I'm going to hold on to what I know is true - Thinking leads to doing leads to feeling.  Well, I've got news for her!    I'm not about to let the glitch of one day get me down!!!!  Mother Nature is just going to have to gallop off and harass someone else!  I refuse to get discouraged, give up or even consider pigging out (Now there' a giant DIFFERENCE!!!!!! )

Thank you one and all - for being the starch that's stiffening my resolve to have a very fine BOTT day.

Good Morning BOTTers!

Today seems to be off to a great start.... It is my husbands birthday, and we will be doing the birthday thing tonight, hopefully it does not throw my BOTTing off...  I will let you all know tomorrow morning!  Here are my stats from yesterday...

B~ Slim Fast
L~ Turkey Patty w/ Cheese and bread
Mid Day S~ Apple (a HUGE one)

32oz SF Iced Coffee (I think I am addicted to these, they are awesome!)

Vitamins: (wooohooo, I took all my supplements yesterday, have not done that in a long time)

B-12
Biotin
Iron
B Complex

Cardio:
Again, none!  I think I need to find someone to kick me the in butt to get me going... I just can not muster up the energy at 1am to do anything but stumble into my bed for a couple hours of sleep...

Cardio - 45 mins of book bike and me time..... I guess I'm going to have to find something else to do every other day so that my thighs will stop aching so....

Food -
pre-wo - 1/2 slice of ham steak
1 bottle of water
WO - 2 bottles of water
B - Fage yogurt & TVP
1/2 bottle of water
S - rtd protein in my coffee
L - roast beef and cheese rollups
1/2 bottle of water
S - primal strip
1 bottle of water
D - shrimp stir-fry sans the rice sounds good
1 bottle of water
