Back On Track Together
Grrr..waaaah...stop it....ok
Well.... I have to admit, I haven't as yet started my goal when the slow started. I had all these plans for exercise and I haven't done a thing. I have been sitting in this chair on this silly computer way too much. It is so cold out, I don't want to go, so I sit. I know, I know I'd feel so much better if I'd start MOVING and not sitting, but... I don't do it. Why do we do that? Why do we do the opposite of what we know would make us feel better.
I am exactly the same way..I have really good intentions BUT getting myself to do it is a different story. I do really good in the summer walking at the park and stuff but when it is cold I am a real wimp! I am the same way with food....I know better but I still graze on the bad things and it has put on weight. But it seems I never learn. GRRRR
I think the answer to that question is, "Because we are human"
Now you folks in PA have the ground hog, but let me share with you a funny fact I heard on the Weather Channel the other night. They were cautioning people who live in south Florida. It seems south Florida has a lot of iguanas and they sleep in trees. Because they are cold blooded creatures, when the temp is 40 degress or colder they go into a deep sleep. When this happens they fall out of their tree. So people were being warned to watch out for falling iguanas. Now I don't suppose you would think that at all funny if one fell on your head, but I laughed so loud I woke up my cats. Sure made me glad I live in the panhandle and not south Florida!
When it gets cold here (wouldn't be cold to you, but we are freezing) I walk in the mall. Gives me such a marvelous excuse to be tempted beyond my limits of resistance to SHOP!!!!
Have a fine BOTT day!

I hear that!!!! Come on down to Florida - that's why I moved from Indiana!!! LOL Surely Mother Nature will give us a break and warm things up a little! Saw on the Weather Channel (as you can see I'm a Weather Channel nut) that next week they are going to have a feature "What I Like About Winter" - I can promise you, you won't see my contribution on there!!!!! There's NOTHING I like about winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't even understand why people pay good $$$, to go to where there is snow (why would you want to???) so they can strap boards to their feet, fall down and break a leg, and then come home and go on and on and on about what a good time they had and how they can't wait until they can go back. Go figure?
