HELP: Protein Debate!!
Ana -
It sounds like you are doing everything right. As long as you're working out hard and really staying committed to the gym and sweating your butt off... then you should be able to maintain the 1500-1800 calories a day. I personally am doing about 1300-1400/day based on the RMR test I had done and I still have 20-30 pounds to lose.
I absolutely understand that it's frustrating when the scale does not cooperate. I've been on a stinking stall for nearly 3 months and it's starting to **** me off. So I feel your pain.
All we can do it our best. Just stay focused on the routines (eating, exercise, water, vitamins) and eventually the scale will relent and give up some pounds. Try to set other goals to focus on in the meantime .... maybe train for a race or try to beat your best time or weight limit at the gym. Spring is coming soon and the 5K races are lining up just waiting for our registrations! :-)
You're doing great. Enjoy the journey - this is suppose to be fun, remember? :-)
