Hi BOTT!

Happy Saturday!  I slept in a little bit this morning and it was soooo nice.

From talking with members and my own personal experience, weekends can be challenging.  For many of us, routine is best.  Although the weekends are wonderful, they also usually include unstructured time.  I know for myself, unstructured time can be a trigger to go off track.  I can't say I've got it down but I'm much better.  Awareness of the unstructured time and how I can possibly react to it has been very helpful to me.  Unstructured time can be used for fun, get in a bit more activity and to take care of yourself.

CARDIO:  Not yet although hopefully soon!

FOOD:  This one is even more important for me today.  I'm really committing to my food today to myself and all of you.

B - 1/2 cup of cottage cheese
S - Veggies
L - Turkey and White Cheddar Kruncheez
S - Turkey jerky
D - Morningstar Soy Sausages (6)
S - Power Crunch bar

Have a great BOTT day.

Oh boy, do I know the perils of unstructure time - been there and been swamped by that more than once!  Right now, I'm happy to report, it hasn't been a problem   You've all helped me be on the same "high" I was when I started .  I'm amazed  - and enormously grateful!!!!

I commit to a BOTT food and exercise weekend.  Today that means walking at least 3 miles in the park even if it is cold here.  Now I realize COLD is a relative thing (it was colder in Fairbanks Alasksa this morning than it was here) but to me it is cold here.  I'm hoping that one burns more calories keeping warm in the cold that are burned when it's hot.  I suspect that is only wishful thinking

Thanks for being there!  Let's all go for a BOTT weekend.  WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER, YES WE CAN

Well when I got up this morning I thinkit was 6 degrees brrrr it is now a balmy 18 (w/windchill 9) ...   I'm sitting bundled under two blankets.. i need to turn the heat up a bit.  I just walked to the back of my place and put out a 5 lb bag of bird seed for the little guys..  I figured if I spread it across under the trees more can eat at the same time instead of 1 or 2 at the feeder.  I just hope it doesn't attract those shine big guys.. they are mean and messy... : )

So I was cooking my stealcut oatmeal this morning when my niece called to meet for b-fast... How can I pass up b-fast with her and my great nephew.. (2 1/2) ... so I put my oatmeal away for lunch....

B - 1 egg, 2 slices bacon, a few diced potatoes, biscuit, coffee
S - about 8 oz of protein drink left over from last night
L - my morning oatmeal w/raisins..(made with milk)
S - either protein drink or bar
D - not sure..
S - popcorn, never got to movie last night ...
