Tuesday - BOTT Cafe AND Cardio

I walked out the front door into 56 degrees with the bluest sky and the most sunshine you can have. It was great and I enjoyed every second of the 40 minute walk.
I'm eating OK today.
Protein and PB shake for breakfast
Protein water
Baked chicken with 3 fresh strawberries and Lite and Fit yogart
Protein water

Will have chicken breast for dinner and  at least 32 more oz water.

Hope you are back to your normal self before long; the pneumonia thing can really drag out.  Scary last night! 

Love the term "alien food"--I'll have to remember that!  You did great getting right back on track!!

OK, BOTT friends, I am really loving this board and am encouraged by everyone's posts.  It makes a HUGE difference to not feel alone and to know that I'm not some freak of nature that I let myself re-gain way more than what's acceptable.

I'm having a good day. 
CARDIO:  Went to the gym and did 40 min. (combo treadmill, elliptical, recumbent bike).  Next week I'm adding weight training like I used to.

CAFE: 
B: EAS Protein drink
S:  small handful of almonds
L: 1/2 of a 6" Subway Melt & just a few spoonfuls of hubby's Subway potato cream soup
S: small apple & SB protein bar
D:  will have baked chicken parm w/ a little salsa & shred mexi cheese on top; steamed asparagus
S:  plan to have some nsa hot choc made w/ skim milk and a some cheese & prob a couple crackers

Hi Jo,

I'm getting so much support on my little detour off BOTT last night.  Thank you to you too. 

It was like alien food.  Gratefully my body has gotten used to the good, high qualify foods and anything not healthy did feel alien sitting there feeling disgusting in my pouch.  BOTT played a big part because before BOTT I would have eaten a lot more alien food but I didn't.

I agree with you about not feeling alone.  It was so helpful because I knew I could post here and be safe, not flamed and get support.  It makes a big difference in that we're all doing this.

I was doing really well UNTIL  I opened a bag of pistachio nuts.  I don't know why I did it.  It's the type of food that I can't stop eating, and I didn't stop eating it until I had about half of the bag!!!
Other than that...  Today I had:
Breakfast - ham and cheese frittata, 1 slice of toast
Lunch - fage w/honey
Snack - a small handful of nuts...(see above)
Dinner - 3 oz steak and veggies
I have put the rest of the nuts in the freezer.  Back to better eating tomorrow.

Hi Ladies,
Everyone seems to be doing pretty well with there eating.  Cathy I hope you're feeling better.  Here's my menu for the day:

EM - Dannon Yogurt Peach Smoothie w/ 1 cup Protein Powder

B -   3 sl of Turkey Bacon w/ 1 srv of Spinach Quiche

S -   6 Meatballs

L -   3oz Salmon Salad on tossed green veggies
        2 tblsps of Fat Free Italian Dressing

S -   3 Tblspns of Sunflower Seeds ( I eat these in place of candy)

D -    4 Pieces of Chicken Wingettes w/ 1 cup of Green Beans

LS -   EAS Chocolate Protein Drink

20 Minutes of Dancing Naked in from of my Mirror - 110 Cal burned and a Good Laugh

Hi everyone!  Bott day #6.

I am really really remiss on the exercise this work week.  I got to the spa to do my water aerobic and after finding a parking space in the next area I got out of my vehicle to reach into the back for my gym bag and guess what?  It was right where I left it at home in the morning!  This was last evening.  So I planned to make up for it this morning before work at home on the Gazelle.  But that morning coffee and a good book just wouldn't let me go.  I really know how to talk myself out ot something good for me!

Pre B - 2-20oz coffee (one black, one with flavored coffeemate)
B - Greek yogurt w/fresh pineapple and strawberries and granola
L - homemade chili and shredded cheese
D - Jason's southwestern chicken chili and salad w/ light ranch dressing
S - Pure Protein bar

It's late, so I will say goodnight and go to bed so that I will not have any excuse not to exercise tomorrow.  My gym bag is already in the car!

Geez, Cathy...take it easy on yourself!  I sure hope that you kick the pneumo soon!!!

Thanks to everyone who posts to our board.  Not only do I get inspiration from our triumphs and tribulations, I also see what good things BOTTers are eating!!  Sometimes, I get my best recipes from mixing and matching what you are eating!!

Pretty standard day for me in terms of intake~

B~ chocolate shake with 1 tsp SF strawberry jelly              160 cals   27 protein 12 carbs
S~wheat thins                                                                            130 cals     3 protein  14 carbs
L~4 oz chicken with salsa, 1/2 cup broccoli                         170 cals   24 protein    4 carbs
S~2 pieces california roll, 1/2 inari                                         130 cals     8 protein  26 carbs
D~4 oz pork chop with peach sauce, 1/2 cup zucchini       200 cals    26 protein  10 carbs
      and spinach w/ garlic, 1/4 cup mashed potatoes      

Food cause I was bored:  10 wheat thins                            130 cals     3 protein    14 carbs

                                                                                                      920 cals     88 protein   80 carbs

All my water (90 ozs), vitamins and 30 minutes on the bike at the gym.  Getting ready to do Wii Fit with my boys then nighty night for me!!

Cardio -- nothing

S-- A fat free light yoplait cherry yogurt and 1 hour later a vanilla atkins protein shake
B--  refried beans and 1corn tortilla
S-- Venti skinny vanilla latte from starbucks
L-- Peanutbutter and sugarfree jelly sandwich
S-- Orange
S-- Apple
D-- 1 CUP of ground beef with onions and 1 corn tortilla

Water throughout the day
