Hey Everyone

I hope your weekend was a great one    If you are like me it's a challenge to want to get up out of bed when it gets dark at 4:00 in the afternoon and dark when you get up in the morning.  It's been proven that when you exercise the hormones released in the brain help you feel better....

The weather was ugly so I went down in the basement and worked out hard this weekend.  It really did feel good but man that lack of sun shine is a tough one    They are calling for another blizzard this afternoon so I am headed back  down to the dungeon, I mean basement

So how do you handle the winter blues and stay on track?  I find exercise is my key

Take care,
Kathy

The winter blues always seems to be the incentive to get me going!!  My 10 year old daughter and are are tracking our miles on the treadmill.  I think we will decide on a prize/reward at a certain amount of miles.  It is so fun to do it together and encourage each other.  Plus I am trying so hard to not make her weight obsessed like her crazy mommy!!

Hey Jen,

Can I borrow your daughter   Just kidding, I think this is a wonderful way to stay on track and also have a positive influence with  your daughters health...

Keep up the great job

Take care,
Kathy
