No, I don]t mean the ones that give you gas   I mean the ones that keep calling your name.  One very effective way to silence them is to smash them up, cpver them with about 1/4 inch of pepper and throw them in the trash.  I don't care how much you like pepper, I don't think you want to eat something covered with that much (if you do, use more pepper)  Work it into the food so you can't scrape it off.  Throw it all in the trash.  With that much pepper you aren't going to be tempted to dig it out and eat it  (Not that any of us has ever dug anything out of the trash LOL)

Oh yea, digging out of the trash.  Been there done that before. 

I learned to put pepper, salt or Tabasco (I hate Tabasco) and that definitely works.  If I'm at a restaurant, I'll put lots of salt and pepper or ask for a to go box before I even take a bite.  Both work for me.

Back in the day my Mom said she use to put her cigarette out in her food so she wouldn't eat anymore!  Whatever works.
