The gratification of gradual weight loss will be much more satisfying

Tip for the day-  If you have found yourself making excuses not to exercise because of the season, challenge yourself to do something new.  Call a local YMCA abd ask about swim classes or buy a new fitness video.  Then ask a family member or friend to join along with you.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday and gets to do something outside the box!!!!!

Hi Jen,

Thank you so much for doing this for our group.  I was looking very forward to your post with the inspirational quotes.

All of them are fantastic.  The first one really talks to me about the gratification of gradual weight loss.  So very true.  The very instant gratification is so fleeting compared to the long term gratification of staying on track.

Great suggestions - what works for me is to go shopping either "window" shopping or buying shopping) at the mall, but not let myself go in any stores until I've walked as many rounds as I planned to walk.
