Has anyone in this group tried the 5DPT to get back on track? If you have can you share your experiences with me.

I haven't used the 5DPT but I know there have been other BOTT members that have.  I've heard mixed reviews from people as to the success.

Hang out and I'm sure you'll get some responses.

You could also check our BOTT blog.  Kathy and I created some Back To Basics documents that are posted there that would also help.

Thanks Cathy. I tried it this week and I am on Day 5. Still conflicted about it. Yesterday I was really gassy I think. I dont know if you remember that feeling of something being stuck in your chest after you eat. All I had was tuna with alittle mayo and I had that feeling for 6 hours. Feel better this morning though.

There was a big group of us that tried it and it was so restrictive most couldn't stay with it, some didn't lose a pound and all ended up putting any weight they lost back on...  I found just getting back to the basics, one step at a time worked better for me...

Just my thoughts on it

Today is Day 5 for me and I have just loved it.  Once I made it thru Day 2 it was pretty easy to follow.  The first couple days are always my biggest problem.  I enjoyed a variety of my  choices and had salmon, shrimp, scrambled eggs and lean ground beef.  Tnight I am haveing a steak.  I liked having that full feeling back and can see how I was so dependent on all my east slider foods and drinks.  If anything I am scared what to do tomarrow.  I have always been one to deal better with a strict schedule.  Unofficially I have lost about 6lbs.  I feel like I am on the Biggest Loser!!!

Thanks you guys. My Day 5 went ok also. Have not weighed myself yet. Trying to wait until Sunday. I know I will be ok after this because this wonderful
group is supportive in getting back on track.
