How is everyone doing with their first full week from the holidays? I was doing full speed ahead but the breaks came on yesterday. Smack.....reality/life hit me in the face. Bad news - yesterday was rough, rough. I had to do some major talking to myself, pull out the list of distractions to keep me out of the kitchen, checked the threads on our BOTT discussion board and make a couple of contacts with close friends. Great news - I DID IT! I stayed on track and I am so, so happy that I did. Yesterday was tough but I did it. That feels so much better than any stupid thing I would have eaten to take me off track and the remorseful feelings that would have happened yesterday and lasted until today. I know there are lots of BOTTers that have done the exact same thing. We rock!
All of you provided motivation and comfort to me yesterday - THANKS!

exercise: did 1.25 miles again on the treadmill this morning and made my goal of going to the gym four days this week.

14 pounds lost before surgery. My first ticker is when I hit onderland: this was my goal when I started on this journey. I want to focus on that right now...once I get there I can reevaluate.
My second ticker is my dream goal. Even if I only visit there for a short time, it would be nice to see that number just once. I am pretty sure I'll need plastics to hit this goal.

Yesterday, I fell short of my goal in calories, but I did well in the water department with at least 100 oz of pure water.
Today my goal is as follows:
100-120 oz of water
1 hour of water aerobics
1600 calories
PB - Atkins protein drink
B - 2 hard boiled eggs
S1 - String cheese and ham rollup w/mustard
Kay's naturals honey almond cereal
L - Birthday celebration for co-worker Chinese
Small Wonton/egg drop soup
1/4 of Crab egg foo young
S2 - Pure Protein Bar
D - Sugar free oatmeal w/ 1 scoop protein powder, 1/4 c soy milk and one TBS PB2
According to Sparkpeople this should just come short of my 1600 calories.

S - lite vienna sausages

Exercise -
45 mins of recumbent bike, book and ME time and I even went for the gusto and upped the resistance, LOL
Food -

I DID IT! I DID IT!! I DID IT! Or maybe that should be I didn't do it. Today's the birthday of one of my favorite co-workers. He dearly loves Krispy Cream lemon or raspberry filled doughnuts (and he's skinny as a rail) So--I brought in Krispy Cream doughnuts for our staff meeting. I DID NOT EVEN EAT ONE TINY MORSEL!!!! My regained weight is coming down - not back to goal weight overnight as I wish LOL, but in reality I'm doing very very well. Thanks so much for this site - the caring and support are grand. I'm committing to having a BOTT weekend - will you join me??? WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER, YES WE CAN

I didn't do well yesterday :( I had planned on going to the gym for at least one hour of intense cardio...I never made it. I went to the gym Monday, was due to go on Wednesday but missed it due to my impossible schedule, and I missed yesterday. NOW, I cannot go today bc I have to work a double, then I have to work again at 6am to noon tomorrow, then a wedding right after work. My gym isn't open on Sundays...sooooo...next time I will get to go to the gym will be on Monday.
Plus, yesterday, I was bad. For dinner I had about 1/2 c. of a rice/ham mixture (toooo many carbs) and then had some more when I got hungry again at night. AND THEN, I had an Oatmeal Creme cookie...It was NOT a good day.
SO TODAY:
PB: 1/2 decaf, 1/2 reg coffee
B: 1/2 apple with 2 tbs. PB
S: 1 scrambled egg w/sprinkle of cheese
L: tuna fish w/LF cabot cheese wedge
D: ?? prob either piece of broiled haddock or piece of grilled chicken
OH, and I'm gonna really try to get in at least 64oz of water/crytal lite in today. I ALWAYS do bad on my water intake...
I am going to attempt to just work my arms with my resistance bands at least while I am at work. I am just getting so frustrated because I feel like these last 10 pounds are never gonna come off!!!!
