I wish I could clone today

I should have posted this on the BOTT Cafe, but I'm very proud of myself and want to shout about it!

After my RNY I had a trainer at 24Hour which I greatly enjoyed.  Unfortunately, I could no longer afford the expense.  I lost my motivation to go after that.  Then I joined Curves which I thought a lot of fun, although not the best work out.  I got bored with it and quit.  Since then my only exercise has been walking.  TG I have dog who demands it!

A couple of weeks ago I began baby sitting for a lady who is a professional dancer.  After having 3 babies in 5 years she developed and is marketing an aerobic dance workout.  It's called "Boogie Box", a 50 minute routine that blends high intensity hip hop & Latin dancing, mixed with kickboxing, plyometric exercises and military drills.

I went today for the first time.  I was by far the oldest person in the class, but not the heaviest  (isn't it cool when you realize you're not the fattest person in the room!).  It was very difficult, particularly for some one who has no idea of how to move her hands and feet at the same time!

I made it through the entire workout without collapsing!  It was really fun!  I'm so proud!

I've done well eating today.  I'm trying to do the 5DPT.  I've had 3 protein drinks and onion soup for dinner.  I slipped and ate some string cheese after walking the dog, just couldn't wait to fix dinner.

Now if only I don't slip on my night eating !

Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow!

Hi Michele,

YEAH YOU!  You deserve to shout!  I'm saying WOO HOO with you.

That sounds like so much fun.  I love walking but I've also found that you need to find something you enjoy doing.  You have!!  Congratulations!

Does she have plans to do a dvd or anything similar?  If so, let me know.

You go!

Cathy
