For a delicious crunchy treat I love Nature Valley Almond Crunch bars.  But none for me this week!!  Also Slimfast low carb shakes pack a 20gms of protein and only 4 carbs for vanilla and 6 carbs for chocolate.

Does Slimfast taste good?  I've never tried it, but a lot of people drink it so it must be ok.

I think that it is good but mostly I love the ease of premixed cans and it is relatively inexpensive.  Just be careful with their products because there are many that are high in carb.  Even the High Protein or Optima has alot, I use the Low Carb but find it hard to locate here in North carolina.

Hi Barb,

You bet, I LOVE the Kay's Naturals White Cheddar Kruncheez.  They've saved me numerous times.  I feel like I'm getting such a treat that it satisfies me.

Okay, here's some of my finds.  I'm going to sh are the websites that I obtain my favs.  When other BOTTers post their favorites, it would be great it you could also post where you buy them.

Kay's Naturals - White Cheddar Kruncheez and the Honey Almond Protein Cereal.  www.kaysnaturals.com

DaVinci SF Gourmet Syrups - Caramel, Peanut Butter, Hazelnut are my favorites but they all are great!  www.davincigourmet.com

Kernel Seasonings - Great on cottage cheese, vegetables, chicken.... pretty much anything.  My favorites are Ranch and Garlic and Parmesan Cheese.  They are high in sodium but are great.  Stay away from the sugary ones.  Warning, warning - they are good and got me into trouble.  They are in many movie theaters for seasoning for popcorn.

Chocolate (or Savory) Soy Crunchies - The chocolate ones are my favorite.  They are a little higher in carbs so I have to plan them into my daily intake.
www.smartforme.com

Walden Farms - They have lots of sugar free, fat free, calorie free items.  I mainly use their salad dressings.  If you buy these, don't expect the normal salad dressing you buy at the store.  It is very liquidy and thin in texture.  The tastes are an acquired taste.  They have some that you can purchase in single servings to take with you to a restaurant or away from home.  My favorite is the Bacon dressing.  Taste first before you buy a large quantity of anything.

Power Crunch bars - I have one almost every day.  If I eat them without some protein on board, they can cause a little bit of a dump.  Good nutrition breakdown but some ingredient registers with some post-ops as a small dump if you dump.
Google Power Crunch bars because a lot of places carry them.  You can find them on sale many times.

Those are a few of my regulars that I enjoy.  I look forward to reading other members favorites too.  I'm always on the search for new things to help keep me on track!

I looove Oh Yeah Wafer Protein Bars....they come in chocolate mint, vanilla peanutbutter cream, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate, and vanilla.  They keep me out of trouble when I'm hunting for something sweet and crunchy.  I buy them as single packs at The Vitamin Shoppe, but they are much less expensive by the box on websites such as netrition.com and dps.com.  I haven't gotten into the slaty-crunchy snacks, which I'm sure are yummy, because I know I could get in trouble with them!

My favorite breakfast food right now is a new bagel I've found... it's made with soy so it's numbers are great..... It's by Nature's Grain and is called Carb check (label has actual check mark) Multi Grain.... with 19 gms of dietary fiber and 14 gms of protein these things are starting my morning off right!

I get them at Brookshire's grocery store....

I found a great new product at Costco before Christmas.  It's Yoplait frozen smoothie, a mixture of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and cubes of yogurt.  Mix it in the blender with milk.  I always add a scoop of protein powder as well.  Very Yummy!
