Back On Track Together
Perfect Timing!
Thanks Cathy and Kathy for starting this group! And as Tracy said for posting on the Grad Board!
It was perfect timing for me as I had already started the 5DPT today and made my resolution to give up white carbs forever!
What I don't understand, I'm sure because I missed the original posts, is how does this work? I saw a message from the AM where people were posting their plans for the day. Should we be posting what we did eat, exercise, etc? If it's not too much trouble, could you please re-post your vision for the group?

Hi Michelle
I am on day 2 of the pouch test too!! I think I have been to the bathroom more than any other room in my house. How is it going for you? I have a headache tonight but I think that is from lack of caffine. I drank 100+ ounces of water so I am having a deit pepsi . Did you see anything about caffinated beverages on the info page?
I am excited to have an egg tomarrow! I have chickens so i love my fresh eggs!!!

Hi Michele,
I start a post that starts with the day of the week - BOTT Cafe & Cardio. It is where we put in our planned food for the day or some of us do it in the evening. Many of us also put in our exercise. Anytime that day is great. Some members are uncomfortable posting their food which is just fine. For me, it gives me a pause to think that I've committed my food and I'm not going to eat whatever it is staring me in the eyes.
The vision Kathy and I have had for our group has been developing for two years. Two years ago Kathy and I started talking about the need for a Back On Track area. We just started this group and for right now, we're interacting on the Discussion Board. Kathy and I drafted some food guidelines, a checklist, exercise and vitamins. We were going to post it today but unfortunately found a bug in the system for posting the documentation on the blog. We reported it to our fabulous IT Support team and I'm sure they'll fix it quickly. Those documents will provide some general guidelines.
For us, when we talked about this group it was with the idea for members that want to get back on track or stay back on track to get together for support, motivation, inspiration, ideas or anything we need for ourselves.
By being a BOTT member, you know that you are among members that are committed to being on track which is very meaningful. There are other members that post on the various boards about back on track but Kathy and I wanted a central place for us to hang out and discuss back on track issues and information.
As we continue to grow, we plan on having scheduled chats with BOTTers. I'm currently teaching a coach training course so my evenings are pretty committed right now. As soon as that is complete, we'll start chats together.
Another aspect important to us is to also discuss the emotional aspect of being on track. Emotional eating for many of us is an ongoing problem. To create our own personal strategies that work to combat emotional eating, head/heart hunger, etc. is a goal too. We believe that the foundation for being on track includes food, exercise, vitamins, water and coping strategies.
I hope that helps. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
