Monday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Good morning BOTT!

Today life begins from the holidays.  Back to our normal routines.  If you got off track during the holidays, continue what you've started.  Make your normal routine include staying back on track.

I must admit that even though I've been sick, I enjoyed the long weekends.  One of the things I'm going to remember is when I get overwhelmed, overtired, anything over....I tend to want to overeat.  So, for me, I'm going to keep my "overs" in check.  Moderation in anything is the way to go, for me, to stay on track.

I sure have found all of you so supportive.  I've picked up all sorts of BOTT pearls from our posts here.  I am so excited about being BOTT with all of you.  Last night, I thought about my divorce from sugar!!  That was from a post here.  I'm a proud divorcee from sugar.  Happily married to my husband and a happy divorcee from sugar!  Thanks to all of you!

I'm still sick so I'm going to need to chill for yet again today on my activity.  Here's what I commit to today for my food:

B - Cottage cheese
S - Red bell pepper strips
L - Turkey and White Cheddar Kruncheez
S - Turkey and Honey Almond Protein cereal (dry)
D - Morningstar Sausage Links
S - Vanilla Power Crunch bar

Also throughout the day, I'll drink chicken broth since it is helpful for whatever it is I've got.

Pre-B:  1/2 Revolution protein bar (16 gms)
B: 1 c. plain yogurt, 1/2 c. TVP & a dab SF peach preserves (22 gms)
S: 1 r-t-d protein drink as creamer in my coffee (17 gms)
L - 4 slice deli roast beef and 2 slice of cheese (40 gms)
S: Primal Strip and string cheese (15 gms)
D: Olive Garden soup and salad (?? gms)
(there's a gift card burning a hole in my pocket)

Exercise:
30 mins recumbent bike
15 mins free weights (did fly aways, oh my aching pecs...)

I love the idea of protein drink added to hot drinks.  I love tea and frequently add vanilla creamer to it.  That would save me the sugar and the fat.  Thanks for the tip!

Good Morning!

This is what I'm committing to, for my first day BOTT!
B: ISS RTD vanilla shake
L: Lean Cuisine Chicken Scallopini and Lasagna
S: Chocolate Whey Stack Protein Shake
D: Pc of baked chicken, brocolli with cheese sauce
S: protein hot chocolate, one wafer of an Oh Yeah bar

I will ge in all of my vites today, and I will do 10 minutes (at least....10 mins sounds so lame, but that's what I'm committing to!!) of treadmill.

EDITED:  just following up on how my Day 1 BOTT went....
I followed my food plan, I did my 10 minutes (I am so lazy!!), and I'm a.l.m.o.s.t.  done with all of my vites.  I have a bada** headache, and will probably spend the rest of the evening sipping countless cups of decaf tea.  I feel very happy to have made it through day one, and I'm feeling excited and proud of myself!!

L: Chicken and sauted veggies
S: 1/2 50 Gram Slam and 5 grape tomatoes
D: I blew it... a little spaghetti sauce w/ burger, a slice of garlic bread, a few cheez its and a few chocolates
LNS: ? - fruit

Exercise: 30 minutes on the treadmill (I did it.)

What is a Gram Slam ? never heard of it .

Oh Yeah forgot exercise I have been trying to walk 4 miles a day on the warmer days and I am going to try to make my self get in my exercise room and do it in there today . Pray for me lol.

The 50 Gram Slam is a protein drink from GNC.  It's 50 grams of protein in a 15 ounce liquid supplement.  Since I'm not a body builder, I have to divide it into 2 servings (for more absorption).

Thank you again I divorce soda over 4 yrs ago before I had Vsg and I have not had any sugar since Vsg.  I am having  PS Jan 29th on my arms and my Breast lift I would like to get off at least 10 more pounds .
