BOTT - What have you noticed?

Many of us have committed to get back on track and have a few days under our belt (ha, since there's more room now under our belts from being back on track!!).  I was reflecting back over the past few days and acknowledging how different I feel. 

To keep the good back on track times rolling, I wanted to ask everyone what have you noticed since being on track?

For me, I feel more confident and empowered being not so controlled by grazing and sugar junk.  I feel happier.  I'm not controlled by sugar and grazing but I'm controlling it!  I think of the saying "Nothing feels as good as thin feels" and I'd like to change it for all of us BOTTers, "Nothing feels as good as being on track."

Yeah us!

Today I am on day 5 of BOTT.  Weighed myself this a.m. and lost 5 lbs!     I am so HAPPY because I have control now. 
It's a great feeling!

Bye-bye to those five pounds!  Poof! Gone!  Congratulations!

That feeling of control is so wonderful.  I'm going to remember that NO food is worth surrendering that feeling.

I've only been on BOTT for two days - yesterday and today.  I can already tell this is what I needed.  I used my Tae-Bo Boot Camp DVD yesterday and had forgotten how much I missed doing it - it makes me feel so tough!!  I log my food and calories burned in my bodybugg, so I can see my progress and it's cool!  Today I did my sparkpeople.com boot camp workout a couple times, still need to do something else tonight though. 

So far I already feel better about myself - eating right, getting off the carbs I've been eating/craving so much lately, and getting in lots of veggies!  This makes my tummy happy and we all know when tummy's happy, we're all happy!!

Highest 323 / Surgery Day 289 / Current 165 - RNY 10-27-07, Hit Goal 08-18-08. Tummy tuck 10-28-09 - UW Plastic Surgery Residency Ctr, Breast/Arm Lift w/Dr. Sepehr Egrari in Bellevue, WA on 5-22-13!

Hi Lizzy,

Two days - that's great!  I'm glad you're a BOTT.  You're really hitting it with Tae-Bo Boot Camp (that is NOT easy) and Sparkpeople boot camp.

You are so right....when my tummy's happy, everything else with me is happy too! 

This is so much fun being BOTT with everyone in our group.

Yeah - that's my exercise goal - to be able to do the complete Tae-Bo DVD without having to take a break on a couple of the ab exercises - can't do them all right now, but I will get there!

I feel proud and like I'm apart of something....around people who are having or experiencing the same things that I'm! I'm down 3lbs since I signed up! And I'm going to workout this evening!

I have noticed that I am fuller on less food (amazing what following your food plan of protein then veggies will do, huh?) I have a lot of energy the last couple of days and my eczema has resolved itself because I am hydrated! 

I  am delighted by the pain (slight) that I feel in my muscles from working out yesterday.  It reminded me that I am strong and as much as I don't like exercise on some days, I need it to be healthy.

Yay for me!  Yay for us!!

I just joined this evening, so will really be joining in starting tomorrow, but today I did spend 1 hr 45 min at the pool with my 8yo and although I didnt swim, more just paddling around and walking in the flowing path they have, plus walking up 30 steps or so to get on the water slide, I still did more moving than I have been lately and it felt good. Tomorrow the gym for at least 1 hr
