Hi Everyone,

I hope your weekend has been great.  Next week is back to our normal routine.  Make sure that you plan to stay back on track.  Include in your normal routine the habits of staying on track.

Ugh, still sick!  So, my activity is pretty much rolling to lay on my other side in bed!  :(  I hope tomorrow I'll feel better and can move!

3:10 a.m. (couldn't sleep) - A cup of chicken broth and hot tea.
B - 1/2 cottage cheese
S - Chicken broth and 1 oz. turkey
L -
Turkey and White Cheddar Kruncheez
S - Red bell peper strips and 1/3 Southwestern egg beaters
D - 6 Morningstar sausages
S - Vanilla Power Crunch bar

A big success for me is that I've been sick, got a little better and relapsed.  It is very frustrating and I'm sick of being sick!!  Rather than make myself feel better with a cookie or some other "comfort" food, I've found comfort in our BOTT group that we've created together and eating on track.  Thanks to all of you!!

Cathy

Hey Cathy,

I see you ate some chicken broth and turkey, that's pretty close to chicken soup  Let's hope that does the trick and gets you better soon

Oatmeal with vanilla whey protein
protein bar
grilled chicken salad with Trader Joe's NF dressing
some kind of protein snack
Baked fish with baked sweet potato and steamed veggies
My Fage yogurt with goodies

Take care,
Kathy

Ok,  I have been using Spark People but not recently.  Looks like I will need to add a few of my favorites into it again!  I did forget to add my 1 serving of steamed veggies for Dinner 40 cal not enough protein to count.

I did the treadmill again for 30 mins at 2.5 mph and 3% incline to burn 144 calories!   Doesn't sound like much but I was sweating for those 144!

I am struggling with the carbs right now.  Normally I would have more "good" carbs, fruit and veggies but I need to go shopping tomorrow.  I have been emptying the kitchen of all the "junk" again and now need to fill it back up with the good stuff!

And I really need to get the hang of tracking again!  dang!

Before I pour my coffee, I put cool water in coffee cup then add a scoop of protein powder to it.  Usually Body Fortress Vanilla.  Whisk it up real good and then add hot coffee.  If you add it to hot it clumps yuck!   You can reheat it if you just can't handle warm coffee, it won't clump once mixed.

It usually gives me 32 gr a scoop but I am down to the last little bit and split it between today and tomorrow when I am going shopping.

I will sometimes add SF Caramel, Kahula, or some other flavor syrup to it as well.  Who needs Starbucks!
