Yes...I logged my day early this AM(all but dinner). So far...followed my plan to the letter. Dinner tonight...hmm... I HEART Bejing Beef from Panda Express(buy a small a la carte container-5 oz)
OK so I look up the info on dailyplate...420 calories!!!!! OMG...are you kidding??????
So if I must stop at Panda tonight for my fix...it won't be my friend Bejing Beef...sorry I'M FILING FOR DIVORCE from you!!!!
Here are much better choices (I don't do chicken because its been my ENEMY since my RNY)

All servings are in the 4.5 to 5.5 oz range:

Bejing Beef(sob sob)  420 cals.
Broccoli Beef                 150 cals
Mongolian Beef             180 cals
Kung Pao Shrimp         240 cals

Thank you dailyplate for making me aware of the errors in my thinking. Hope this very small list can help out one of my sistas. Any other fast foods out there that we can look into...any addictions or better choices?????

PLAN IT; LOG IT; STICK TO IT!!!!!!!

OMG Barb you are so funny divorcing the bejing beef but so true....I hear ya, yesterday was the first day tracking my foods in over a year and nearly died when I saw what it added up to just on normal choices from yesterday.  Before that I was grazing on everything in sight (esp. m & m's)  the hard part is I want to divorce from the M & M's but maybe just a seperation for now LOL.  All seriousness I havent bought any for a few days (YAY me) when before my candy dish was always filled and I would take a few everytime I walked by them.

Hi Barb,

LOL, LOL!!  I'm filing for divorce myself too from sugar.  It has been an on/off relationship but I need to divorce it.  Thanks for that thinking.  I really love it.  I used to do family law so I am filing for a quickie divorce!  Your post helped me immensely.

Another thing in your post that is inspirational to me - "Plan it; Log it; Stick to it."  Awesome stuff.  We must hit all three as BOTTers.

Your divorced friend,

Barb~

Your post made me laugh out loud!!!  I would like to file for divorce from Starbucks biscotti, then!!

Thanks also for the list from Panda...It is my younger son's favorite place to eat.  When it is just he and I, we go there and we share.  He usually orders the beijing beef, orange chicken and 50/50 rice and noodles...I can't eat much of the beef, but I would imagine that even the three pieces or so that I eat have a ton of calories, fat etc!!!

Wow~what a wake up call.  I am going back to the tofu eggplant, broccoli beef or mandarin chicken with no sauce!
