What do you want to call our food thread? What did you eat today, Friday.

Hope all of you experiencing withdrawal feel more energetic and better soon!  Monday is my planned day of attack; I've already warned my family not to speak to me until spoken to!! 

B: protein shake (slowly getting back into this habit)
L: insides of a soft taco, 5 nacho chips with cheese
S: homemade turkey/veggie/barley soup
D: same as snack, tiny pc of spinach-cheese-garlic bread

I have gotten away from my 6 small, PLANNED meals.....my goal is to get back into that pattern of eating (and to exercise!!)

Sorry, Kathy, I don't have any creative suggestions for this thread.

That is a great idea getting the family involved.  Again, we need to go back and make function like we did when we first had surgery... 

Again, how much protein are you taking in?  I am seeing everyone really eating way low and I am wondering if this is a factor of why you are eating other foods.  Remember if we get our protein in and eat it first we will not be hungry.

Check with your surgeon and see how much they want you to take in?  If that is not an option I do 110 grams a day and when I am working out hard I up it to 180 to 190.

Hi Kath,

My head is stuffy so I'm not very creative.  I'll throw out something for our thread for a reminder - what about "Saturday-BOTT."  Okay, I know not very original but it would be the day and our Group for added incentive.  We could also combine our food entries along with our activity entries for the entire day (or prior day) or planned for the day.

My food was lots and lots of hot tea for stuffiness in my head with DaVinci Gourmet Sugar Free Carmel syrup.

B - 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.
S - 1 package of deli turkey.
L - 1 ounce of turkey with Kay's Naturals White Cheddar Kruncheez.
S - Fresh pear.
D - Morningstar soy sausages (6)
S - Chocolate Power Crunch bar

I've started logging everything into my computer version of FitDay.

Here is a big hug for you  We hope you feel better soon.  Where is your chicken soup girl?  Everyone knows  you eat Chicken soup when you are sick 

Hmmm,   I kinda like the idea of posting our food and exercise in one thread....  We know, to really get the weight off and more importantly keeping it off, both are a MUST!!!!

What do you guys think?

The name    you need to blow your nose, but it's better than yummy tummy   Come on members, we may be stuck with yummy tummy or BOTT day of the week

Woke up to about 12oz tea all my vits and supps
1 bottle of water
1 protein drink
for lunch creamy tomato parmesan bisque soup
1 more bottle of water
another protein drink
1 1/4c sugar free pudding
another bottle of water
6oz tea
1c ham and cheese soup (this was on the 5dpt website)
and now i am having 1/2c ham and split pea soup (also off the site)

okay i'll confess i had a hard boiled egg and 2 tastes of chicken salad (to make sure the seasoning was correct)  but that is all.  that is all the cheating i've done at all

I can't wait until tomorrow when i can have soft proteins

btw incase you did not know already, I am on day 2 of the 5 day pouch test diet.

If I think I am going to be tasting in the kitchen I chew gum.. it really keeps me from tasting.

My day:

~ Kashi Go Lean Vanilla oatmeal

~ 1 liter water

~Protein shake(adding it back to increase overall protein #s) made with 1 1/2 scoops(34 gms) Fuzzy Navel nectar

~1 liter water

~3 cheese curds

~ Hmmm... probably another protein shake.

~ More water

~ Snack???...Skinny Cow mint ice cream...my fave!!!

I've been journaling on dailyplate.com

Bkfst - 2 scrambled eggs
            1 healthy life bread
Snk    - 1/2 of fage w/1 T honey
Lunch - ricotta/mozzarell, parm.  bake
Snk    - 1/2 of fage w/1 T honey
Dinner- 4oz. baked chicken
            1/2 c brocolli
All day- coffee, lots of coffee
