Back On Track Together
Hardest Habit to Drop
1. Starbucks - I am such a LOSER for their "Grande Non-Fat Caramel Macchiato with 4 (FOUR!) raw sugars!"
That's my weakness... I get in my car in the morning and I HAVE to have a Starbucks coffee otherwise, I can't work right. I will confess that we tried changing it to "sugar-free vanilla syrup" and "Splenda" but not only it was NASTY, I had a blazing headache ALL day and couldn't function.
2. Grazing - I didn't know what this was, but I WAS doing it. Not anymore!
Die Habit, Die!!!
Anyone out there with bad habits?
Oh yes. I can relate! Slipping into bad habits? Where shall I begin??!!
I regressed back into the sugar cycle. The more you eat, the more you want, round and round I go. It is funny because a few days before the New Year, it was as though my body was screaming at me because I actually craved steamed vegetables. I guess my body had enough and was letting me know by the craving for vegetables. That's a good thing but it was interesting.
I've got a sugary, snacky foods type of eating that I can revert into. So my habit that I'm busting is to make a conscious effort to ditch the sugar. I've been consciously avoiding sugar for awhile and I feel so, so much better.
I'm with you on the grazing. I've found, for me, being off of sugar has helped me a lot with grazing. I bought some Kay's Naturals White Cheddar Kruncheez and those are healthy yet fulfill that snacky thing so that's also helped.
Bye-bye sugar and doing better on grazing.

Coffee has become a HUGE issue for me... my partner and i own a coffeehouse and i drink 2-3 16oz non-fat pumpkin pie latte's a day.
today i am only going to have one and try to not hurt anyone...lol and tomorrow i am going to try and find a SF syrup that doesen't make me want to puke.
I am also a super grazer, most of the time i do fine during the day but the head hunger hits me HARD at night and i swear i lose my mind...

You've got to say, I think that if I keep working at this and want it badly enough I can have it. It's called perseverance. -Lee Iacocca
