Admit - The Biggest Loser

I admit it - I love the show The Biggest Loser.  I know there are many differing opinions about the show, how they do it, etc.  What I love is anyone that is faced with a challenge, goes for it and reaches their success.  It is very motivating and inspiring to me to see people change their lives.....just like all of us have.

One of my co-workers I work with teases me horribly about how much I like the show.  The next series starts this coming Tuesday.  Yes, I'll be watching.

As we all are changing habits and getting back on track together or staying on track, it reminds me of the theme song of The Biggest Loser which is "Proud" by Heather Small.  I love that song.  I ask my sons regularly what they are proud of for that day.

Many times we focus on what we haven't done that we don't fully acknowledge and celebrate what we have.  Many of us have decided to undertake a habit/goal a month at a time - a day at a time.  So, for today, "what have you done today to make yourself proud?"

I'll start - since I'm sick, I'm not at my 100%.  What I have done is make healthy choices when I've eaten.  It is tempting to me when I'm sick to nurture and make myself feel better by making a not so healthy food choice.  For today, I haven't.  I feel great about that.  I've also focused on protein more as well.

What's yours?

I love the Biggest Loser, except that I always "tivo" it.  There are a lot of times when I think that people on the show should not be doing something and I feel bad for them or like last season with Vicky , boy I really didn't like her.  When I watch it later I run pass the "hard to watch" parts.

I am proud of the fact that I acknowledged there is a problem and I am taking control back!!  No more blasted gol**ish for me!  (these cheesy devils are my biggest weakness!!)

Great post!  Thanks for the reminder of what to be proud of each day.

I love TBL - i have to admit tho, some of the gameplay this season upset me.  but I guess that is life.

Today, posting my food for the day was a huge step for me.  Maria
