I hope that others in the Bowling Green, KY area are looking for some support and friendship and make their way to my group.  I had my surgery in 2000 and lost 113 pounds, but after moving to KY for my husbands job, gained almost all of it back.  During the last 3 years I have been taking a new approach to becoming healthy and am currently down 90 pounds and feeling like I can lose the weight I need to lose and keep it off this time.  But no matter where we are in our struggles to lose, re-lose, or maintain our weight, it is always easier to have others that can help you along the way.  And since we all know how much of a struggle it is, can be a great comfort and support to one another.  Had a new member join my group today and am very excited about it.  Think she is in another state, but writing our support helps too.  So come on and join and lets share our experiences.   Thanks, Cindy

I am hoping to start this group to meet others in this area who have gone through, are going through, or thinking of going through bariatric surgery.  I was in a group for over 4 years when I lived in Michigan, and it was such a great support for me.  We can share our stories, answer questions and make new friends, all while getting healthy!  Would love to see posts here, and if others are interested, get- togethers.  Sizes change quickly and we could pass down clothing articles to get someone else through the changes without spending hundreds for the short times we stay in those sizes.  I hope this finds people in this area who are looking for support.  There are so many things, besides us, that will change in our lives.  Please feel free to post anything you have on your mind.  Thanks, Cindy
