My first week I did great. I lost 12 lbs. But I haven't lost anything since. I have gone up and down 2 lbs and am getting frustrated! How about you?

I had surgery same day as you. Unfortunately all I want is sweet! I've used peanut butter as a soother . I'm eating eggs, tuna, walleye , cottage cheese, Greek yogurt. It has not gotten boring yet , because you can only eat a little . Anyway I saw your date was the same as mine. Curious to how your progressing.?

OK folks...I tried tilapia for lunch yesterday. It was awesome. Had about 1/2 of a filet. Tried the other half for dinner and ate too fast. Now I know why they say SLOW....I hurt so bad and had to throw up numerous times after that. It was miserable and I NEVER want it to happen again....Don't want anyone to experience this....so e..a..t......s..l..o..w..l..y......
Topic: Five days post-op
I had surgery on Tuesday and am now five days post-op.
I'm doing pretty good my recovery hasn't been easy as others nor hard as others. I feel like it's smack dab right in the middle. I had to stay in the hospital until Friday because my potassium was dangerously low for some reason. So they had to give me bag after bag of potassium which is no fun that stuff hurts going through your veins. They got it up enough for me to go home with liquid potassium (yuck! like drinking sweat).
I just can't wait to feel normal and watch the pounds drop.
I would also like to thank everyone who offered prayers and comments of encouragement.thank you thank you thank you and hugs to you all!!!
Well enough about me how's everyone else doing?

Today I tried 1/2 c. of plain greek yogurt, 4 strawberries and 1/2 scoop of strawberry protein powder. It has 23g of protein and best of all it wasn't sweet! I'm not sure about the cottage cheese and salsa yet. I have started eating a soft scrambled egg for breakfast and I thought it was the best tasting thing too. I like salsa in my eggs so maybe I'll try that tomorrow.

AGREED!!! First chance I got, I had cottage cheese and put some salsa in it for additional flavor. Sounded gross; looked gross, but tasted AWESOME!!!
