Hi Kim... it appears this group isn't the most active, huh?  I'm curious to know where you are in your revision process.  Did you end up pursuing a revision?  If so, which procedure? What has your insurance experience been like this time around?

Hi there,

I am experiencing the same thing and am wondering how your appt went in Feb. and if you found out anything about your insurance covering.

Hope things are going well for you,

Hi there,

I am a brand new member just read your post.  How are things are going for you?  What did they do to revise the RNY?  That's what I had and am curious what they do to revamp things.

Hope things are going well,

HI!

I am brand new here too, and just posted my first time.  It has to go through approval though and so hopefully will be able to be seen soon.  I am hoping the group is active too.

Barbara, I'm new to the group, but I was wondering how your revision went back in September? Any details or advice that you'd care to share?

Thanks in advance!

Glad to know you're on the right track toward getting some answers and hopefully a seat on the losers bench soon.

Good for you!

I think it went fairly well. He told me that due to my severe gerd there may be a mechanical problem. I have to have upper gi and endoscopy, already scheduled. He also said that it may be a laproscopic  fix, which would be great, but have to wait for test results. I will have UGI next week and endoscopy 4/1, going to try and get back to him by April 5th latest. He also told me he trained my original surgeon and I told him I knew that a;ready. So he knows the plumbing first hand. He mentioned that there has been a llittle change or something in the way he taught my surgeon. Hopefully its mechanical and not me.

How did your meeting go with the surgeon today?
