I entered my current weight and it automatically updated. I'm still trying to figure this out. Hope it helped.

I feel hunger. But I realize actual hunger makes the tummy feel very empty, sometimes rumbles. I try to make sure it is hunger and not head hunger or thirst. Being thirsty feels like hunger.
I do take 40 mg Prilosec for Acid reflux.
I do eat more according to a schedule than relying on hunger to guide my eating since that has not no t been very reliable for me.

Can anyone offer insight and or instructions on how to enter weight loss on the ticker? I am anxious to watch the indicator begin it's long journey towards the right!

i was having a similar sensation that i wanted to call hungry... burny, stingy, crampy in my pouch... and i thought it was hunger but realized that between the ketosis & the decreased ghrelin, hunger wasn't a likely canidate.
i saw a post last night about a similar complaint. someone suggested it was heartburn so when i felt that pesky "??hungry??" i chomped 2 tums to smithereens (ok per my doc's discharge instructions) & suddenly my "hunger" was gone... i guess it's just my stomach acid trying to figure out what in tarnation happened last week!

I also had surgery on the 14th. I haven't felt actual hunger yet but the head hunger has been bad. Sometimes its hard to tell the difference. I feel like, I haven't eaten in three weeks (including two week preop liquid diet), I should be starving! But I'm not starving. Its very strange.

Let me know how you like the unjury. I need to increase my protein too.
Topic: Hungry 7 days out
Hey December Sleevers,
I had surgery on the 14th and all is going well. I'm still on liquids til Jan 4th, but I'm learning some interesting soup combinations. I still need to increase my protein intake. Today I'm going to try adding Unjury unflavored protein to my soup. And YES...still sipping and walking and peeing.
But...I'm hungry...it feels like real hunger not just gas. Anyone else experience this?

According to the literature and guides that my NUT provided, you are still roughly 6 days from "mushies" - right now you should be on water, broth, sugar free (SF) jellos, SF popsicles, protein shakes, decaf coffee/tea, SF koolAid, skim milk, diluted fruit juices, Carnation Instant Breakfast (also a decent source of protein), any SF non-carbonated drink, oatmeal, grits or cream of wheat - all must be thinned w/milk and thin enough to consumew/a straw, but DO NOT USE A STRAW!
IDK what you are using for protein, but I really like the Unjury Choc. Spendor and the Unjury unflavored. You may try those.
Good luck and I hope you find this post helpful!

Not sure what you are allowed yet but the greek yogurt has a good deal of protein. About 14-16g per container.
